I've never been into Lego even when I was a kid. But hey if you enjoy something who cares what other people think? If you're that bothered just say you bought it for a kid who didn't want it.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Oh...someone was also handing out mini bibles tonight. I may have said "ah what the f*** man" a bit too loud... Them Sneaky Lil Gideon's never miss a Trick!!! Lol

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 its quite a shame the Legoland in Vaughan bans adults (unless accompanied by a child) I heard the Legoland in Vaughn is pretty bad. The Legoland's in Munich and in Denmark are supposed to be really awesome though.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 If it was acceptable for a 30 year old to play legos all day thats what i would be doing. How did puzzles and board games manage escape this stereotype???
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 If it was acceptable for a 30 year old to play legos all day thats what i would be doing. Hey man - adult colouring books just became popular - so there's still a chance!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 How did puzzles and board games manage escape this stereotype??? ... and comic books superheroes and video games.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 You don't see the problem with this statement? Should have pluralized Legoland?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Wooden Blocks, Lego pffft !!!! Lol
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Lays Ketchup are disgusting. Old Dutch Ketchup chips are on point though. Wow, you're lucky my current sig is only slightly dumber than this quote.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Old Dutch >>>>> Lays in general. would stop short of saying they're disgusting, but the Dutch is a much superior ketchup chip
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Old Dutch >>>>> Lays in general. would stop short of saying they're disgusting, but the Dutch is a much superior ketchup chip This is the same man who once said that a single fish bone that you could probably eat without noticing 95% of the time in his salmon sandwich would ruin his whole day. Lays ketchup are not disgusting by any stretch. Nothing touches Miss Vickies for me, though. They are the only chips I eat nowadays, and they keep coming out with new flavours that you can't find anywhere else. Caramelized onion and sour cream are pretty good but my favourite potato chip atm has to be the roasted garlic and parmesan. Oh man, those things are f***ing incredible.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I have a problem, so I can't be too picky when it comes to chips. MV's are good, but a little pricey. I do like the variety of new flavours outfits like MV's and Ruffles have, but I do feel they sometimes make new flavours as throw aways they know people will try once. Double sucks when you find one you like and know for a fact it won't be around for long
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I really only eat Salt and Vinegar, but: Miss Vickies = Old Dutch >>>>>>>> cardboard > Lays
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I really only eat Salt and Vinegar, but: Miss Vickies = Old Dutch >>>>>>>> cardboard > Lays Interesting. I have never cared about chips to the point where I'd do a taste test comparison with cardboard. also, how thick is the cardboard? Is it corrugated? Do you use your own flavourings or are they sold in the international aisle of some obscure Ottawa supermarket?
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Do you guys actually like the Ketchup flavored chips? Tried them once and I thought they were gross. I'm willing to try them again though. What's the best brand for that flavor? Old Dutch?

I never had the Old Dutch kind (I don't eat ketchup often, usually only when Lays are on sale but I'll usually opt for SC and onion or all dressed instead) but I don't think they are gross. I guess they're just a really Canadian thing.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 If I ever meet you in real life, I'm swinging on sight. No pleasantries, just swinging. I should of offered to go for a beer with you when I was in Ottawa last. Not sure why I didn't, I had time to spare. Maybe I was worried it would be super awkward.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 fun (annoying) fact about Old Dutch chips. They have 2 varieties of BBQ. The ones in the bag suck (are too sweet). The ones in the box (with the 2 individual bags inside) are the old style and are f***ing amazing.
