Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Pretty sure he was hitting 5th for him them the majority of the season but just hasn't hit at all. Ya was wondering how the 8th guy had 95 runs batted in.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Cody Allen's hat is soaked. It looked like a leather hat
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) I'm going by what I remember from the ESPN 30 for 30. He went into hiding for like a couple of days and resumed his life. People didn't really know what he looked like anyways because of the hat and headset. You might want to watch it again... Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I'm going by what I remember from the ESPN 30 for 30. He went into hiding for like a couple of days and resumed his life. People didn't really know what he looked like anyways because of the hat and headset. There was that 30 for 30 documentary where some ESPN writer in Chicago followed Bartman to where he worked, waited in the parking garage for him to get to his car and tried to get an interview with him. Right and he split for good mere weeks later.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Would be really something if Bryant hit one out here.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Please hit a homerun Bryant.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Bryant got rekt by Game Over Allen
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 lol They are doing exactly what they did to the Jays and Red Sox.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Wow cleveland so underrated
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 lol They are doing exactly what they did to the Jays and Red Sox. Indeed... can the Cubs answer here in the 9th?
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 If cleveland wins this year it's almost guaranteed the cubs win next year
bronson44 Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Did he not go into hiding or was that a made up story twisted by Cubs fan lore? lol I work for the same company he does, or did anyway..haven't looked him up in the directory lately. I thought about messaging him when I found that out but decided to leave him alone.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 You're might want to watch it again... He stayed in Chicago. He was still there when they tracked him down for a follow-up story in 2013 (which he declined). What am I misremembering exactly?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Can't believe Cleveland is doing this all without Brantley, Salazar, and Carrasco.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 If cleveland wins this year it's almost guaranteed the cubs win next year This is a very odd conclusion.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Can't believe Cleveland is doing this all without Brantley, Salazar, and Carrasco. Salad czar pitched an inning game 2. Think he walked 2 guys, not sure but he wasn't great
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Salad czar pitched an inning game 2. Think he walked 2 guys, not sure but he wasn't great Well 100% healthy Salazar. Clearly not the same guy.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Ya was wondering how the 8th guy had 95 runs batted in. he actually drove in runs at a better rate out of the 8 hole. Only 60 AB's though.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Francona is a genius manager
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Salad czar pitched an inning game 2. Think he walked 2 guys, not sure but he wasn't great IL... now I know.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Chapman's left arm should be classified as a dangerous weapon. Jesus...
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 .201 On Base percentage? Is that even possible?
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 This is a very odd conclusion. No team even close to as good as Chicago for next year
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 He stayed in Chicago. He was still there when they tracked him down for a follow-up story in 2013 (which he declined). What am I misremembering exactly? That's the way I remember it too. "Believed to still live in the area" is the way they word it. He still has a spokesman...I wonder if he even gets paid.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 No team even close to as good as Chicago for next year Well no team is even close this year but they still might lose. Being the best doesn't guarantee s***.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I just remembered the Yankees had both Chapman and Miller this year along with Betances lol. f*** man. Glad that found a way not to work out.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Wow hipsters are true! Chicago is full of them.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I just remembered the Yankees had both Chapman and Miller this year along with Betances lol. f*** man. Glad that found a way not to work out. The Cubs supposedly asked what it would take to get both.
