Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Steve... that was my point, I was answering your post as you deleted it.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Chisenhall was right that was fan interference
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Hope the Indians can pull this one out and win the series. The curse is one of the great stories in baseball history. Not many other sports can boast something like that. If the Red Sox played the Cubs, would you have been forced to cheer for that despicable human being named Theo Epstein?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 If the Red Sox played the Cubs would you have been forced to cheer for that despicable human being named Theo Epstein? I wish Theo was an executive for the Jays.

Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Steve... that was my point, I was answering your post as you deleted it. Davis was out by a mile on that play
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Cubs have got that balance of the calls tonight
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Bartman's gone on with his life just fine. He doesn't need to be vindicated by the Cubs or Cubs' fans. I'm convinced he will continue to ignore them just like he has all these years. Did he not go into hiding or was that a made up story twisted by Cubs fan lore?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Davis was out by a mile on that play And your post was he was going to throw home, so...
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 If the Red Sox played the Cubs, would you have been forced to cheer for that despicable human being named Theo Epstein? no, he'd cheer for the Red Sox, the Billy Goat Curse is one the best stories in sports.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I don't think I have ever seen Addison Russell get a hit. Guy sucks every time I watch him play.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Did he not go into hiding or was that a made up story twisted by Cubs fan lore? Yes.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 And your post was he was going to throw home, so... I forget What happened on the play would need to see it again
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I don't think I have ever seen Addison Russell get a hit. Guy sucks every time I watch him play. He is horrible at the plate
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Not bad for a number 8 guy though. Better than anybody the Jay's could put in the 8 or 9.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Yes. Yes to what? Going into hiding or it being a made up strory?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I don't think I have ever seen Addison Russell get a hit. Guy sucks every time I watch him play. lol... can't be much, Jonn.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Kipnis would have stood there and took the base on that one.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Man that is a dirt nasty cutter.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 It would be something if Schwarber hit one out here.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Not bad for a number 8 guy though. Better than anybody the Jay's could put in the 8 or 9. Pretty sure he was hitting 5th for him them the majority of the season but just hasn't hit at all.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Bartman did not go into hiding. He kept his same job. He stayed in Chicago. He just didn't go "public" with his story which was very smart of him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Yes to what? Going into hiding or it being a made up strory? Hiding, he had to quit his job and move, etc, etc...

TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 He is horrible at the plate Will be a top 5 hitting SS within 2 years. Guaranteed.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I would have never thought Brian Shaw would pitch longer than Andrew Miller tonight.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 ESPN says different? I'm going by what I remember from the ESPN 30 for 30. He went into hiding for like a couple of days and resumed his life. People didn't really know what he looked like anyways because of the hat and headset.
BlueJaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 ESPN says different? There was that 30 for 30 documentary where some ESPN writer in Chicago followed Bartman to where he worked, waited in the parking garage for him to get to his car and tried to get an interview with him.
JoJo Parker Dunedin Blue Jays - A SS On Tuesday, Parker was just 1-for-5, but the one hit was his first professional home run. Explore JoJo Parker News >
