Hope the Indians can pull this one out and win the series. The curse is one of the great stories in baseball history. Not many other sports can boast something like that.

 

If the Red Sox played the Cubs, would you have been forced to cheer for that despicable human being named Theo Epstein?

Bartman's gone on with his life just fine. He doesn't need to be vindicated by the Cubs or Cubs' fans. I'm convinced he will continue to ignore them just like he has all these years.

 

Did he not go into hiding or was that a made up story twisted by Cubs fan lore?

no, he'd cheer for the Red Sox, the Billy Goat Curse is one the best stories in sports.

I don't think I have ever seen Addison Russell get a hit. Guy sucks every time I watch him play.

Not bad for a number 8 guy though. Better than anybody the Jay's could put in the 8 or 9.

 

Pretty sure he was hitting 5th for him them the majority of the season but just hasn't hit at all.

Bartman did not go into hiding. He kept his same job. He stayed in Chicago. He just didn't go "public" with his story which was very smart of him.

I'm going by what I remember from the ESPN 30 for 30. He went into hiding for like a couple of days and resumed his life. People didn't really know what he looked like anyways because of the hat and headset.

There was that 30 for 30 documentary where some ESPN writer in Chicago followed Bartman to where he worked, waited in the parking garage for him to get to his car and tried to get an interview with him.
