Surprised no-one has commented on this yet... he's played a whopping 4 innings in his career out there? Personally... I like it, the bat is too good to have on the bench, wind's blowing out and there should be plenty of bombs tonight. Or Francona looks like a mutt and a play in LF is the difference in the game... any thoughts on this?

I think if you are the Indians going into a slug fest at Wrigley with the wind blowing out, Tomlin (one of the worst fly ball pitchers in MLB with lots of HR surrendered) as your starter, and up against the NL ERA leader; you have much bigger concerns than the ability of your left fielder.

Well, after the called strikes in that 1st inning, it is nice to see the Indians getting some of the same medicine the Jays had to swallow in the ALCS. What goes around has a habit of coming back around. ;)

By pitch fx Jays pitchers got more calls than the Indians.

It's actually Napoli playing I would have questioned. I know he's shown power against RHP but Crisp playing LF and Santana playing 1B seems to make more sense to me. I love Francona's comments though saying "if Santana doesn't make a play that's not on him...it's on me".

Same on the latter.
