Is Miller a free agent after the playoffs? Jays should pay big to get him.

Pitching wins playoffs.

Signed through 2018.

Um... not yet... You wan't to start s*** and get banned?

I haven't started s***, you came at me with the sarcasm.

As a Mod, it really isn't cool to be flexing your muscle for no apparent reason.

Of all the mods to get mad about "flexing their muscles", it's really rich for you to attack KingKat of all people.

I'm not flexing my muscle for no reason. I'm flexing it because you're starting your thin skinned macho ******** again.

Same. They won 89 games, made the playoffs, got to the final four, and it still kind of feels like they played like crap for most of the year.

They just never got the bats going like everyone expected.

Feel the same way. Been a Jays' fan since day one in the '70s, and this year's team just never resonated with me. Hated the approach. I look forward to off-season changes that will help remake the offense.

Holy f*** can we ban king already? The thread spamming is worse than the Dogg on the old forum.

Gruber is throwing a giant hissy fit and King is the one you want banned?

That's what they supposed to be, but a depleted Indians starting lineup was even better.

Estrada was not great today, can't give up 3 runs when the bats can't get anything going. Lost to a rookie and deep bullpen.

I don't think Indians batter are that good, but they hit when it counts, and out homered the jays.

I can ignore one person's rant. Some retarded child posting multiple stupid threads in an effort to get attention is another story. He's as bad as the Dogg or Todd.

Better than 5 and 2/3rds.

it's going to be an interesting off season too.

we got to enjoy some great baseball. a few million Jays fans got to ride the roller coaster and enjoy the thrills. Of course we all wanted to ride to last a little longer, but it was still a good season.

Been a fan since '85 and I'm reminded of '89. The kind of last hoorah of the '80s Jays. That year also felt lucky to make the post season, outmatched by Oakland, winning only one game in the ALCS. But where that season felt like a success, this one feels like a failure. Just in the way they went out. An extremely joyless series. Didn't feel like the same team.

Great season by you guys, just fell a little short. Hopefully next year we'll have another great race in the AL East.

Indians pulled off a 4-1 series victory with questionable starting pitching a little offense against a great Blue Jays rotation. They needed to play smart and execute the game plan to even have a shot against a solid Toronto club.

Good season for the Blue Jays. It isn't easy getting this far. Good luck in 2017.

Reminds me of a Shapiro quote about his departure. Something along the lines of "I knew that the systems that needed to be in place were in place and I felt that the team didn't actually need me anymore so it was the perfect time to move on."
