  1. That is two spots in the lineup. So far, these two guys will replace the production of EE and JB. Looks pretty s***** to me. And nobody gives a s*** about your made-up stat. It's all about RBIs.
  2. He deserved more respect, as does Bautista. This regime does not respect anyone. They tried to play hardball with arguably the number one free-agent hitter on the market who actually wanted to stay. They missed out on EE, Fowler because of their corporate culture, Reddick, Eaton, Desmond. They like shopping in the bargain bins. You think career journeymen are the answer???
  3. You said it. God help us.
  4. Shatkins will have run this franchise into the ground. They are garbage. Kiss the post season goodbye for many years.
  5. You're on f***ing crack.
  6. Ha! You're dreaming buddy. You can kiss the post season goodbye effective 2016-12-22.
  7. Yes. He and Atkins will have run this franchise into the ground.
  8. All this WAR talk is making me sick. It's a ******** new age stat that means nothing.
  9. I'll take Jose Bautista, hands down. Ryan Braun interests me via the trade route but it might cost us too much.
  10. Well, I guess Stro calls it like he sees it. I'm also interested to know what JD and TT think of this offseason so far. Was there ever any issue with EE's character or work ethic in the clubhouse?
  11. No, like Han Solo said, "It's true...all of it." https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cy2YQWsXEAAkZK2.jpg:large
  12. That's awesome. I knew it had to be a factor. They do come across as cold and ambivalent. They think they can win a World Series by reading a few Stephen Covey books. They will run this franchise into the ground.
  13. Does anyone else feel that maybe other FAs/players might be unimpressed with the way the current regime has treated two of its icons who have done so much to put Toronto back on the map? They've lost out on pretty much everyone they've targeted and Cecil and Benoit have left. Are Shapiro and Atkins coming across as douchebags?
  14. "7. BLUE JAYS Because the Blue Jays added Kendrys Morales and Steve Pearce to a roster that already had Justin Smoak, it's somewhat hard to see a reunion, though the two sides have remained in contact. But should it really be that way? Morales and Encarnacion could split 1B and DH between them, and while that squeezes out Pearce somewhat, his ability to play five positions should get his bat into the lineup enough. That leaves Smoak without a job. That shouldn't be an issue for a team trying to win." This , taken from MLB.COM, is exactly what I said two days ago.
  15. Yeah, if he breaks 10 I'll be happy
