BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 lmao Montero with a pinch hit grand slam on an 0-2 pitch. There's no way the Cubs aren't winning the WS this year. Everything is going their way. Looks that way. Even when Chapman gives it up they cant be held down.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 That got out of hand quickly
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 long way to go but yeah, hard to see anyone beating the cubs
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 They are just so f***ing good and likable at the same time. I can't think of a single player they employ that I actively dislike.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 They are just so f***ing good and likable at the same time. I can't think of a single player they employ that I actively dislike. And their manager is probably the best in baseball
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Looks like the cubs vs Indians. The cubs should crush them
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Author Posted October 16, 2016 Chapman is very unlikeable.
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Chapman is very unlikeable. Chapman's a goof just ask Rizzo
Stevecool Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Jays would have no chance vs the cubs
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Chapman is very unlikeable. I don't see why but ok. I personally don't object to his existence.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Author Posted October 16, 2016 Guy beats his gf. Also Yankees wanted him to become starter but he wouldn't co-operate. He's not a team player, doesn't care if team wins only about his own performance
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Chapman prefers clean starts to innings He has allowed 10 of 17 inherited runners to score Damn
GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 MGL went on another tangent last night about pitch selection re: Chapman with runners on base
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Looks like the cubs vs Indians. The cubs should crush them You should have no problem giving me 3:1 on a bet then.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Jays would have no chance vs the cubs You have no chance of posting anything that isn't dumb as dirt.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Author Posted October 16, 2016 Cubs aren't really they great. Played bad nl teams all year Jay's would have 120 wins in their division. They even lost a game to the lowly Giants. Would have no chance against Jay's or Indians. Their ace can't even field the ball, their closer has had a melt down

canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I don't agree with Mittens but lets say Cleveland wins which by the way I don't think it's even close to over yet! Miller being forced to bat at Chicago...no more 2 or 3 innings for him
Mowich Verified Member Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Kershaw is lights out good..............damn it. Cubs have only allowed 1 run but that's all it took as Clayton is shutting the bats down almost effortlessly........he's thrown 72 pitches in 6 innings.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 It's weird getting to see Cubs play after not seeing them at all really during the season. The offence has struggled recently, almost cost them game 4 against Giants and possibly this game. Rizzo not doing a thing, Baez Bryant and fowler seem to be doing well though
Plat Verified Member Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Kershaw is a beast, so is Jansen...But I still see the Cubs winning this in 6 the most.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Rizzo just clowned Hill hard.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I don't know how much longer Dodgers can go with Hill. He's been brutal.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Seager heating up. Bad news for the Cubs.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 Cubs fans must be panicking. I hope Dodgers bluejays World Series happens. Unlikely but would root for Dodgers against Indians if that's the case
