I hadn't occurred to me that they would drop Feldman but it makes sense. Liriano wasn't fresh coming into the last series so it made sense to roster a long man but with him rested, Feldman becomes superfluous. He was very unlikely to get any use anyways and Pompey will surely get some pinch running opportunities. Goins for Smoak was pretty much obligatory with Travis's health issues. They don't want to be forced to DL Travis.

I believe it is Goins, but they should probably go Donaldson if it is a big moment.

I realize that but do you really want your MVP 3B to play catcher? I guess it is the postseason and I'm sure the gamer that JD is he wouldn't even flinch before running to grab some catcher's gear.
