HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I realize that but do you really want your MVP 3B to play catcher? I guess it is the postseason and I'm sure the gamer that JD is he wouldn't even flinch before running to grab some catcher's gear. this is an emergency situation. The chances of it happening are very slim. And if it happens, it's the playoffs. You do what you can. We can always sub in Thole the following day.
flafson Verified Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Goins can play all 9 positions, I'm sure he could catch.
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Trying to remember, did the Jays make many roster moves between ALDS and ALCS last year.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Good roster except for Tepera he will only pitch if the jays go up 10, down 10 or in a 15 inning game if Goins and Barney have already been used.
SweetSmellingChacin Verified Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 No Smoak? But who is going to hit into an inning ending double play or strike out with runners on base?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Wow who backs up first???
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 No Smoak? But who is going to hit into an inning ending double play or strike out with runners on base? Saunders
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Wow who backs up first??? Goins has 5 innings under his belt this year and Bautista has played their in the past.....Should not need to worry about that
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Wow who backs up first??? Goins, Bautista, Saunders and Navarro I would think. Its a good roster.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I just think it's a risky position. I just hope there isn't a key error. This is the sort of series that could come down to a play not made

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 He was warming up in the last game. the only two RP l fear are Cecil and Tepera. The rest I trust
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Ribeye and mushrooms on the grill, baked potato in the oven... now it's only 6 hours until game time. really dislike late games.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 If I want to go grab a 2 seater at Real Sports, what time do you guys think I should get there? 6:30? 7:00?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 the only two RP l fear are Cecil and Tepera. The rest I trust Those two don't belong in the same sentence. One is a great pitcher having a bit of an off year. The other is a bad pitcher going through the best stretch of his career (and he's still not that good).

CHRIS Verified Member Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 1B is the easiest position to back up Don't worry I've heard that it's incredibly hard.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I've heard that it's incredibly hard. We have enough guys who can manage it though But yes, picking balls on bad throws is hard
