Over nine relief appearances (7 1/3 innings) in last year’s playoffs, he didn’t allow an earned run. Lineup: For the Rangers: Colby Lewis, RHP Lewis has risen to the occasion in the playoffs, posting a 2.38 ERA in nine career postseason outings (eight starts). He tossed two quality starts against the Jays this season, going seven innings in each.

ChrisS Verified Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 How is Lewis? Should we be worried about him pitching a gem tomorrow? The Rangers should be worried, he has given up about 1 homerun for every 6 innings pitched this year. The Jays have 8 in their past 3 games..
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Colby Lewis is a whiney bitch, it will be fun to watch the boys destroy him tomorrow.

IIRC, he gets mad when players bunt against him because he's a lazy s*** and doesn't want to field the ball.

Hes going to hate Zeke lol. So basically the Rangers are sending their most volatile starter into the craziness of Rogers Centre with the season on the line. I'm just glad he doesn't throw that hard. Would love to finish this three. Never would have expected that but here we are. Hopefully Sanchez is sharp.

baconpancakes Verified Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 how about we not need Barnes at all in this one. The big boys can step up and support, and have Sanchez breeze through and give Suna another day of rest. go jays

flafson Verified Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 I'm actually surprised they left Barnes out and had the likes of Feldman and Tapera in.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 f***, I'm getting pressure from the family to go to Thanksgiving dinner tonight instead of the Jays game. Like they couldn't move it up a couple of hours for late lunch instead especially since I already have a ticket. Game or Thanksgiving? Likely leaning towards the game. It's the postseason.

It's the postseason. ask your Dad if he'll have dinner during an Italian World Cup final (I know it's just a made up thing that will never happen again but tell him to pretend). Say it's like that for you. Although likely the pressure isn't coming from Dad.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Expect longer than normal beer lines. All can's of beer will be poured into a cup as per the Jays letter to ticket holders. Also dome will be closed of course.
