HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Jesus Christ. thats why you gotta buy your world series tickets now Jays fans
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Well you probably don't know this since you just became a baseball fan last year, but the Giants won the WS in 2010, 2012, and 2014. Why the hell would any non-Giants fan root for them to win again? I want a different team to win. Nats haven't won ever, for the Dodgers its been a few decades, Jays about 20 years, Indians over 50 years, and Cubs... Well you know. Good points. Jumping on the bandwagon last year in October was a great decesion. No Regrets.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 f*** it's impressive to see John Lackey still throwing 94-95 and this effective at age 37. I still remember his first playoff start with the Angel's way back when. Makes me feel old.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 That's why it's hard to dislike these guys.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Insane play there, but think he's safe.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 That would've been the play of the year by an infielder. Too bad Span beat it.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Holy f*** what a tag. Baez is unreal.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Holy f*** what a tag. Baez is unreal. Yeah... I was blown away by that. Good on Ross too for putting the ball where he could do that.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Yeah... I was blown away by that. Good on Ross too for putting the ball where he could do that. That play he almost made, he threw that ball at 72 mph. Falling away and losing his footing....
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 That play he almost made, he threw that ball at 72 mph. Falling away and losing his footing.... Imagine how good he'll be if he ever hits like he did in the minors (or somewhat close)
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Would having the Giants take this series, open things up even more for the Jays, having the best team in baseball knocked out before they have to face them.

CBlake Verified Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I'm hoping for LA vs San Fran and the Jays goin' to Cali. San Fran would be an excellent road trip, one of my favourite cities, a perfect setting for a ball game.
King Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Imagine how good he'll be if he ever hits like he did in the minors (or somewhat close) You could say that for a lot of players though. Imagine if Kevin Pillar could hit as good as he did in the minors? He would be a top 5 player in baseball.

I think we'd have a better chance of beating the Cubs. The Giants playoff track record is legit.

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Lol Matt Moore with the RBI single.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Can't tell if serious. Even year
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Can't tell if serious. What value do you put on the Giants playoff experience? Every team is good in the playoffs and history has shown that a few extra regular season wins don't give the Cubs a distinct advantage.
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Rough inning for Lackey lol Not the best throw to first though IMO.

The Cubs are absolutely the better team.

It's an even year. http://www.rawstory.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Conspiracy-theorist-wearing-tinfoil-hat-stares-at-his-computer-Shutterstock-800x430.png
