That's right. If Bumgarner played for the Braves I'd still rather face the Cubs because Bumgarner basically morphs into a superhuman every playoffs. That or he just tries extra extra hard to be good at pitching. The rest of the team is irrelevant.

PS, you dummies never learn. Especially NJH.

They need to change the division series to 7 games. It was really unfair for the Giants... the sample size wasn't large enough for luck to even out, and for the better team to win.

Also Bumgarner could of pitched 3 times in a 7 game series, and the Giants would of won.

Are you seriously arguing that the Giants were the better team? The Cubs are the best team of the last decade.

He's making fun of Grant.

No I'm not. I'm saying that nobody has a substantial advantage. Look, you don't understand statistics so I'm just going to drop it. Go bet on the Cubs if you think you are right.

/end thread

Cleveland has far better pitching and defense, which was abundantly clear before the series started. It may be a cliche, but scoring goes way down in the playoffs. We saw it last year with the Jays. I don't see how anyone could find this shocking. It was expected in my books.

So what's so different from this comment about the Indians over the Sox, it was just people's opinion that the Giants are inferior to the Cubs, in which they obviously were?

I still don't get what the big deal is, as I've said earlier... anyone can win in a short series. Yet, opinions on whom is better, etc, is always going to be discussed.

The greatest posters in Blue Jays history have never gotten Grant to admit he is wrong on anything, it is impossible.

The only round about way to get a small amount of satisfaction is to post the same things Grant does, and enjoy the reactions.
