I can't speak for the rest of Canada, but that was NS. Most people might be pushing it. But even with a sober driver, there would be a lot of other drinking in the car. Drinking used to be very much part of the culture down here.

Coming from across the pond, the way video evidence in stadia is used extensively in court, everyone is aware that what they are doing is being recorded.

 

Those doing nothing wrong have nothing to fear!

 

In fact, if the incidents are not ongoing then it has a twofold benefit, there is no need for the police to fan the flames by trying to wade in and get the culprits in the usually alcohol fuelled heat of the moment. The police get to do their detective work using the in stadia video and cctv, identifying the suspects and they are then rudely awoken a few days later with a 5.30AM police knock to make an arrest.

I can remember when I was 20 I had guys call me and ask where their car was parked the next day and I wasn't even out with them... I know a lot of people who should not have been driving.

 

here it's .2 and that means if you have more than one drink you better not drive.

 

 

most people get caught the day after because they don't realize how long it takes to have the alcohol burn out of their system. The older you get the longer it takes your system to metabolize the alcohol. If I am out drinking I take the bus.

First I apologies was going back and forth with someone else....I do believe if you drive and enjoy having a few pops you most likely drove under the influence even if slightly over. Muscle and body mass absorb alcohol faster...not by much though.
