Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I spent $1,200 on playoff tickets to find out they were non-refundable, so I did not buy wildcard tickets. That suxxxxxxxxxx
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Because Shapiro is a money-grubbing prick who changed last year's policy. Last year, there was an optional refund for unplayed games. This year, they "automatically" apply it as a credit to your season ticket purchase. How lucky for you! Even if you aren't a season ticket buyer. Now you are. See how that works? You can become a 500 level season ticket holder and stand in the 100's, I guess.

Who the hell told you that? If you don't ask for the refund then they apply the credit to next year's.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I'll be watching it at home with my girlfriend. I wouldn't subject other people to spending time with me during a Blue Jays playoff game. Everything I hear besides the TV goes in one ear and out the other. I went to ALCS Game 3 (the blowout win) last year but I don't think I'll be going to any games this year unless a ticket is given to me (and, of course, if there are more games).

ChrisS Verified Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I'll be there. I had 7 tickets to the game, 2 from seasons I gave to a friend at cost. The other 5 I made a profit of $25 per ticket only. I'll be buying an hour before when all the greedy flippers are forced to drastically lower their prices. Hoping to pick up a pair anywhere behind home plate or the jays dugout, looking to spend $300 total
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Lol who the hell told you that. You have the option of using that towards next years tickets or you can get a refund I believe, he's saying you get no refund, and the money is used for 17'
ChrisS Verified Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I believe, he's saying you get no refund, and the money is used for 17' A credit is applied to your account, if you wish to be refunded instead, you contact your account exec by 5pm on Nov 16th 2016 and you will receive a refund.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I believe, he's saying you get no refund, and the money is used for 17' And we're saying he's wrong. You can absolutely get a refund.

Yorkshire Blue Jay Verified Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I'll be there, got flex packs for the season in both mine and the wife's name, as she comes to the game with me. As a result, we were both granted the 12 seat allocation and thus we were able to buy 2 seats for each post season game in the initial allocation. Got 500's for tomorrow but managed to get some 200 level ones for other series games.

Anyways, I'll be there tonight in section 104 row 2. I bought off stubhub immediately after the jays won on Sunday, which ended up working out because the prices sky-rocketed in price the next morning

I bought off stubhub immediately after the jays won on Sunday, which ended up working out because the prices sky-rocketed in price the next morning Sunday morning the prices had really come down, even right after the game they were quite reasonable but by the next Morning that all changed. Sometimes I really don't get the movement of price on Stubhub.
ChrisS Verified Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Over 2500 tickets still left on stubhub, prices will have to come down.
AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Was the pricing for the wild card game the same as the ALDS?
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) I'll be watching through my fingers. Edited October 4, 2016 by Inklink Spelling

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 My body is ready. Ticket connection fell through for today so gonna wait to see what Stubhub has to offer in a few hours.

Stubhub does not seem to be coming down yet. 500 level tickets seem to be significantly up since Sunday. One observation I have is the market/action for 100/200 level seems to operate independent of what is going on with 500 level tickets.
