I feel kind of bad for the AAA callups. They're just there among themselves having a blast, knowing that the fun ends at midnight for them.

 

Then there's Osuna who's like 4-5 years younger than all of them.

Ryan Tepera types can at least take pride in the fact that they may have helped earn a win during the season.

The division champ parties are bad enough, but this is ridiculous. They're literally on the brink of elimination. I really wish they would save this for winning the world series.

Yeah I agree. Tepera can take solace in knowing he actually played a role in getting the team there, however small it was. The other guys played like a combined 10 games.

Umm Syndergaard put up a 6.5 WAR season with an ERA 0.4 runs lower but okay.

 

He's also pitching in the NL east, in a much more pitcher friendly ballpark. Put him in the AL east and see what kind of numbers he puts up. I'd bet my house they are nowhere near what he's putting up over there. Put him in our homer dome and watch that ERA inflate and that WAR shrink.

 

I'll take sanchez every single time, no contest. Not knocking Noah, but he doesn't have the calibre of fastball that Aaron does. When sanchez gains some command and confidence in his change up, he's going to get much much better. Sanchez is the bigger stud
