puphood Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 MRI would indicate nothing obviously broken and looking for soft tissue/ligament/cartridge issue....
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 If JD goes to the DL he'd basically be done for the regular season which would also mean our season is damn near ova.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 My Kingdom for Munenori Kawasaki
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 If JD goes to the DL he'd basically be done for the regular season which would also mean our season is damn near ova. He could come back Sept. 27 if my counting is correct That would get him back for 3 games each vs Orioles and Red Sox
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Lol where do you guys come up with this stuff? What's your basis for that diagnosis doctor? You cut off the previous sentence, "I'd be surprised.." I'm taking a guess. Donaldson's a warrior, if he's getting kept out for 3 days something's wrong here dude's knee got smashed and hit 3 homers in the same game. He's not responding to treatment and he needs an MRI, I mean it doesn't take a doctor to think that something's more than just day-to-day
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 There's no one worth calling up f*** IT JUST KEEP HIM DAY TO DAY AND PRAY
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 If JD goes to the DL he'd basically be done for the regular season which would also mean our season is damn near ova. Teams don't even really use the DL this time of the year. And if he did miss 15 days backdated he'd be back for the last week of the season. Idk, this doesn't sound great but to say he's missing the rest of the year seems like overkill to me.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 He could come back Sept. 27 if my counting is correct After a small rehab maybe available for the last series?

Yeah, there's no one to call up and there are 40 roster spots Why bother
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Guys, no need for the DL this time of the year. We have 40 man rosters.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 After a small rehab maybe available for the last series? On second thought: No point to DL Roster has 40 spots Just wait it out
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Guys, no need for the DL this time of the year. We have 40 man rosters. Thanks Exactly right
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 He could come back Sept. 27 if my counting is correct That would get him back for 3 games each vs Orioles and Red Sox Why DL him just don't use him like the past 3 days
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 He will be listed as day-to-day same as everyone else that's out for the season....err I mean a couple days.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 He will be listed as day-to-day same as everyone else that's out for the season....err I mean a couple days. Not funny man

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 K, K, K for Estrada. Now let's get some runs... we need this game before we head to Anaheim to face the awful ANgels.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Hells yea. Strike out the side to start. 24 more pls.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Only point of using the DL in September is using the 60 day DL to clear up a 40 man roster spot. No way Donaldson gets put on the 60.
