LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Everyone complains about Tulo being fragile how many times has Donaldson been off due to injuries this season, and when does it become a concern? we can all agree this is quite obviously the dogg right? I mean his username is a dead giveaway if his idiotic posts weren't enough for you. Just put him on ignore
Praxis Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Honest question, no troll intended. Is there actually anything wrong with Donaldson, an injury that's not being disclosed for example? Or is he just banged up and needing a rest right now?

The state controlled media has only revealed that it is a hip injury... to what extent I do not know. Hopefully not as bad as Bo Jackson's... Bo could homer after hip replacement but not much else...

Hopefully it's just sore and not something more serious.

puphood Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 What was Tulo's hip injury that required surgery ? And Bo actually had a fracture which Donaldson wouldn't be walking on if he had....
puphood Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 July 30th Donaldson limped off the field with a apparent hamstring injury I wonder what leg? Is it the same leg?

Bo got an injury that f***ed up the blood supplyl and the hip then degenerated over a period of months.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Sports medicine has made a lot of strides since Bo. It's not really a pertinent example in today's climate. It's especially irrelevant when we know so little about Donaldson's injury in the first place.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 just shows you can never trust management when it comes to 'breathers' or 'minor injury' news

Although I doubt anything could be done about that type of injury. If you f*** up the blood supply I'm not sure they can fix it. Maybe I am wrong.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Typical f***ing Blue Jays Monday - He just needs a day off (General Soreness) Tuesday - He has hip injury another day and he will be fine Wendsday - He needs an MRI not sure when he will be back
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 It's not a lie if they know the truth. The JPR Legacy will never leave this organization.

Was even worse with Lind
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Remember 2014. Was even worse with Lind Oh yeah... his Mom knew.

If you f*** up the blood supply I'm not sure they can fix it. Maybe I am wrong. http://regressing.deadspin.com/could-modern-medicine-have-saved-bo-jacksons-career-1443105382 It's difficult to tell which examinations Bo underwent, but it's safe to assume he had unfettered access to imaging procedures. What we do know is that his injury caused disruption of blood flow to his femur and avascular necrosis set in. If Jackson were playing today, that period immediately following his injury is when modern medicine could have possibly prolonged his career. Not even necessarily by wiping out the AVN or by catching it early, but by ensuring it never happened in the first place.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Remember 2014. Was even worse with Lind Josh's Mom doesn't have a man telling her what to diagnose.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I can only assume the MRI showed bad results of they haven't announced it yet.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 MRI scheduled for today. Werent the results supposed to be told couple hours after the game? what happened?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Tomorrow we'll find out that Donaldson didn't travel to LA with the team...
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Donaldson placed on the 60 day IR. Is what we'll likely see tomorrow morning.
