Harper had a similar drought this year, and he too won MVP last year. I just hope he's gonna go on a tear like he did against Minny and Baltimore until the end of the season starting with the Rays. Timing is everything so if he can get hot for these next 2-3 weeks and he can extend it into the postseason, I'd rather him be cold nowß

It could be an issue with the thumb or something else. He could be playing hurt. Then again it just might be a slump. He's gotten a lot of pitches down the middle that he's just missed instead of mashing, and there have been some hard hit balls right at fielders.
