What'd I miss for the extra hate on Gibbons tonight? He put up a good line up is he supposed to swing a bat for them too?

 

Yeah the lineup is good. I would have kept Bautista at lead off (he still draws walks at least) and batted Travis 7th ahead of Upton and Pillar, but other than that, yeah can't really blame the Hick. When the offense is good, they are good. When it's s***, it's s***. No in between.

The only complaint I have with Gibby today is not doing a double steal in the 3rd.

Let's just let Bryan Mitchell dominate us by swinging at early pitches. Fantastic.

 

Tulo just took 95 right down the middle first pitch...can't get a better pitch to hit....then grounds out

Yah it's not April. September fighting for our playoff lives and playing terribly. Relaxation is not what comes to mind.

I hear what you're saying but this isn't June. We can relax but this 1-4 stretch which could turn to 1-5 soon is just short of a disaster.

It will be interesting to see how Shatkins rebuilds this offense. Tough off-season to do it. But some intriguing platoon bats on the market. I expect a massive overhaul though.

It's crazy how a 2 run deficit in the 5th seems insurmountable at this point. They just look like an aging, super tired offense.

 

2 runs won't win this game. We can do this.

If the Jays are getting shut-out by Mitchell, I don't see how they'll do anything at all in a playoff/wildcard situation.

It's kinda funny. They can't do a s*** against a no name pitcher.
