That's stupid. Supply and demand bro. If someone's willing to pay it, who are you to judge?

Also, I'm not one of those people who sell, just disagree.

There are plenty of places to sell and I can't stop people from PM'ing people. We are supposed to be a community here.

I have a Presale code. Not really much I want left. Can discuss a deal with you at face (cost) if you agree to buy tickets for next year too.

He's a mod and helped build the forum... so it's (in part) his house.

Ownership and property rights are important too. Have to obey the house rules. If they don't want you scalping tickets here, well, that's that. People are free to sell them on sites where it is allowed, or Craigs List?? Does that work if you want to bypass fees?

First off, from a Cubs fan, good luck tonight! I've been monitoring tickets for all of the teams that the Cubs could play during the postseason for several weeks, and the Blue Jays are the only ones that seem to have already sold World Series tickets to the general public. Can you confirm that?

I'm not sure how many Cubs fans would make the trip--they travel well and road game tickets will be cheaper than home tickets by a lot (probably double if the NLDS and NLCS are any indication). Cubs fans travel very well, and the first World Series since 1945 will get a lot of people to make the trip. However, with all the road games being on weekdays and the road games split between two trips, that will limit road travel.

I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, because as a life-long Cubs fan, I know how things typically end up going, but I just want to be prepared, because I will make the trip for all the games in Toronto if we make it, especially since Toronto is 1 of the 4 remaining MLB ballparks that I have not been to. I wasn't expecting to go this year, but maybe I'll get that opportunity in a few weeks!

Thanks in advance.

Yes they did, the entire post season was put on sale at the same time.

Thanks for letting me know! That's a great way to keeping the visiting team out. So I shouldn't expect prices to drop much/at all from now until a few days before the game then if the Cubs make it. Still $500 for seats vs. $2,500 for Standing Room Only is a bargain. I'm guessing Standing Room Only at Wrigley Field would come down significantly, but who knows. The Cubs haven't won a World Series in anyone's lifetime!

If anyone is interested I'll sell my Wednesday tickets for face.

Section 523 row 21, 2 seats together $120 each

Section 138 row 10 single $150

"Q. What happens to funds paid for tickets to unplayed games?

Unless you have paid for your 2017 Season Tickets in full before the end of the final Postseason series, the amounts you paid for tickets to unplayed games in a Postseason series will be applied as a credit on your account and will be applied towards the remaining balance of your 2017 Season Tickets purchase. If you have paid in full for your 2017 Season Tickets, you will be refunded after the conclusion of the Postseason.

Q. When the Postseason ends can I request a refund instead of a credit for unplayed games?

Yes. If you would prefer to have a refund instead of a credit towards your 2017 Season Tickets purchase, please notify the Club by contacting your Account Executive before 5:00 pm on November 16, 2016. After this date, a refund will not be available."

"Hi Baseball Fan,

Due to the recent elimination of the Toronto Blue Jays from the American League Championship Series, your upcoming games have been cancelled:

The good news is we are already working on refunding your money including all fees (except any Courier fee if applicable). It should post to your account within 7-10 business days.

Cancelled:

Toronto Blue Jays: World Series Games 1-2, and 6-7

Rogers Centre

October 25th, 26th, November 1st, 2nd 2016

NOTE: Ignore the stuff about the refund if the tickets were transferred to you - the refund goes to the fan who originally bought the tickets from Ticketmaster.

Questions? Please reply to this email, or get answers right now

Thanks for being a fan.

So I guess if you weren't a season ticket/flex pack holder the refund is automatic. For the rest, don't forget to contact them about your refund.

I'm a flex pack holder and my tickets for game 4 of the ALDS were refunded without me doing anything.

Hmm, maybe only those with season tickets need to contact them then.

If you had to pay for your individual tickets in full when purchasing and not via the 'full strip' instalment plan all monies should be refunded by ticketmaster.

Last year, only fans who paid with an instalment plan had to request the refund of their payments before they were credited to their account.

Basically if you are a Season Ticket Holder the games that aren't played are put towards your season tickets for next year.

All the people who had flex packs and purchased on ticketmaster get refunded their money by ticketmaster. That is how it works I think.

Or you can request a refund.

Has anyone received their cheques from StubHub yet if they sold their games online? Sold a pair for the AL Wildcard game on their and haven't received my cheque yet.

The cheques take forever. Sometimes it feels upwards of a month. My suggestion is sign up for the paypal option. I had to setup a 2nd paypal account because they wouldn't let me link my bank account to my original because my first name was spelled differently on my bank account and paypal account.
