He would not lead off but you got the players right.

Bautista

Donaldson

EE

Saunders

Tulo

Reddick

Martin

Pillar

Travis

Is the likely scenario against righties. Upton would play aginst lefties instead of Reddick or Saunders.

Would be a killer lineup.

That works to. I just really dislike Bautista's average for a lead off guy, although he does walk often

All about OBP for leadoff and Jose's projected OBP is elite. Hes like the ideal leadoff hitter.

If Reddick and Hill come this way Pillar will unfortunately be going to the A's

I wouldn't be so sure. I could see Stroman headed that way, which I wouldn't really care about. I have a strong dislike for Stroman.

Why? How does that even make sense to you. Does the concept of platoon just blow people's mind? Or the fact that they want Bautista and Saunders to DH as much as possible?

Why? Why? Why is this so hard?

Because Bautista won't stand for it. He'll sit out if he has to DH full time

Plus you have to give up value to get value

Who gives a s*** what he stands for. Last time I checked he doesn't run this team. He can play RF a couple times a week.

Probably a stupid question. But who's cargo? Gonzalez?

Sources say Dodgers have pulled OF Alex Verdugo & 1B Cody Bellinger were both pulled from lineup today at double-A Tulsa. Stay tuned.

Bellinger, Verdugo out of #Dodgers’ lineup at AA. Source says it is “random” and not related to trades.

I have to think Bautista would play 1st if we got Reddick, and the only way it would really make a lot of sense would probably be if he signed an extension.

Reddick has excellent career numbers in Rogers Center, although it's only 18 games. Heck, signing a 1 year extension might be smart for him to put up big numbers and hit FA a year later.

Why would the Jays get Reddick now we have 5 outfielders.

Move Jose to DH.

Saunders in Left

Pillar in Center

Reddick in right against right handed pitching/Upton in against Left handed pitching.

#BlueJays continuing to pursue starting pitchers, 26 hours away from deadline. One name they're still discussing: Ervin Santana. @MLB

Is he even good enough to crack our pen?

From what I've read on the twitter. Twins are looking for too much for Santana. Pass from me.

He does have 2 more years at 13.5 and then team option for 14. Maybe theyre looking at him as back end of the rotation for the next 3 seasons... but we could probably cobble that together with FA signings rather than giving up assets

I would only want Santana it the Twins ate money and they want legit prospects lmao.

I'd rather Hutch starting than Santana, but Santana is probably a valid starting option. I certainly wouldn't pay much for him though. I'd love for us to nab Trevor May.

The Jays will land a starter... And I think it will be someone that we really don't like.

If he's better than Dickey and doesn't cost a lot. I won't complain. Otherwise no point.
