That's basically what Canadians think of the anthem too, considering the only time it's ever broadcasted is on Canada Day.

 

Oh I agree, I'm just remarking that Fox don't even air it, no one really cares. Our Anthem should be respected on Memorial Day, Remembrance Day, and Canada Day, for the men and women whom served. If anything, this guy just embarrassed himself, and lost a job.

It's just an interesting moment. I don't know that people are overly offended, but this is akin to Kanye's "Imma let u finish" moment. Just a cringy thing that happened on a pretty big stage.

I know Colorado isn't going to the post-season, but Arenado's final at bat was the most pathetic I've ever seen, especially when the game was that close.

I hope he never gets picked to be in an all-star game again.

First thing i thought was that i felt terrible for the other 3. No matter what they do (fire him, and single him out) their reputation is going to be f***ed going further. Your career takes a huge shot because one jackass goes off kilter.

Idk about that. I think they reacted quickly and appropriately enough that no one will harbor any animosity except the craziest of BLM advocates.

 

Just so embarrassing. His heart might have been in the right place, but that's just the complete wrong platform to get your point across. You're not gonna do anything but piss people off, I'm not sure how he didn't realize this.

The rest of the band got out in front of the backlash and handled it appropriately. I would never listen to their s***** music anyway, but I wouldn't hold this against them.

Yes - I'm aware. All 4 are top 25 in positional player WAR in all of baseball this year. It's embarrassing they didn't make it. All 4 should have been in over Saunders, Beltran and Edwin
