43211234 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Who is a better pitcher right now, Verlander or Hutchison?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Who is a better pitcher right now, Verlander or Hutchison? That this is even a question worth asking says a lot about how Verlander's career has been going lately.
fireballW Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 That this is even a question worth asking says a lot about how Verlander's career has been going lately. It isn't a question worth asking. Verlander has been good and Hutch has been in AAA all year.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) It isn't a question worth asking. Verlander has been good and Hutch has been in AAA all year. Yeah I mean given the choice between the guy who projects to be an average starter and the one who is actually doing it at the MLB level, the only logical choice is to go with the one who is getting it done in the games that count but on a purely theoretical/speculative level, the separation might not be that great. Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I want to post a good Kate Upton joke but can't decide which is the breast one. Go Jays!
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Who is a better pitcher right now, Verlander or Hutchison? not sure if you realized but s***** Justin Verlander is long gone
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I hope this won't be a jinx, but here is the lineup:
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 not sure if you realized but s***** Justin Verlander is long gone April ERA 5.46 May ERA 3.16 June ERA 4.73 July in 1 start ERA 1.29 Meh, Jays got this.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Should have DH'd Travis with Edwin at 1st again. Other than that, good lineup.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Off to the dome, hope the Jays get a win, everyone have a blessed night!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 That this is even a question worth asking says a lot about how Verlander's career has been going lately. Ever since we all saw his wang, the mystique is gone.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I hope this won't be a jinx, but here is the lineup: Whoa that slogan is so cringy
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Let's go Blue Jays!! http://i.imgur.com/DEzj1xw.jpg
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 This is probably the least favorable pitching matchup we'll have this series. Win this one and we are setting up well for a 3 win series. Hutch v. Verlander Happ v. Pelfrey Sanchez v. Boyd Dickey v. Anibal Sanchez
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Listening to the Jays warm up. Frustrating to me this poor Hutch stuff suffering in Buff. I get it, but he has been given chances and he just hasn't yet put it all together. Love Price's line "don't like it?, pitch better". That's all Hutch has to focus on and succeed at and he will have an MLB rotation spot.

I'm hoping for the best from Hutch tonight but would not be surprised at all to see a line like this: 4 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 4 K
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Ever since we all saw his wang, the mystique is gone. I wonder how many people send his dick pics to him just to remind him of the shame.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Is Travis not fully healthy? He seems to have been playing too much even for a regular. Barney's performance has been just as good, so it is difficult to argue against him being in the lineup.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Let's Go Blue Jays!!!!!!!!!!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 If Travis is physically fine, then Gibby isn't handling him very well. He shouldn't have to worry about being benched if he has a few bad games in a row. Gibby is going to f*** up his development.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 So far, Hutch has been locating well.
nmrch Verified Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Hutch is hitting his spots, he's on tonight
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 nice read by Carrera? twisting and turning
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Good inning Hutch but that last slider sucked.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
