Lil Looper Verified Member Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Why the POS wasnt DFA'd after he tested positive just proves how f***ing cheap rogers can be. He belongs as the team mascot (Droopy) on some double A team. I hope he never plays with us again
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 I wonder if the fact that Smoaks been so atrocious grants Colabello a lot of rope though. The teams hot as hell right now so Smoak stinking it up doesn't really hurt as much but you gotta upgrade when you can regardless. And whether we like to admit it or not Colabello was a big-time fan favorite last year. Everyone fell in love with his story, and if theres anything people like more than a success story it's a come back. I can just imagine Rogers milking it now.

He can't play in the playoffs, what is the point of rostering him this season?
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 To help the team land a playoff spot? I love what I'm seeing from the team lately, and my nervousness has been mostly qualmed but I don't think the playoffs are exactly a shoe-in.

I don't think he'll play for us unless Edwin/Smoak get injured
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 The team doesn't really need to add another 1B to the 25 man. Let him ride the bus from Buffalo to Scranton.
