I really like the slider he added to his arsenel. 3 whiffs that inning I believe. At 87 MPH it looks a lot more like his fastball which I think will make it a better swing and miss pitch than the curveball.

I agree, adding that in to his hammer curve and his moving fastball is making him a more complete pitcher. Hopefully this helps if they decide to transition him to starting in the future.
