Swervin81 Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Tulo doesn't strike me as the type of guy to switch to a lighter bat, considering his glove should be in a museum. Gloves have a ton of sentimental value and last years. Bats break every few AB's. Big difference. Besides, if Tulo really didn't wanna be here, you'd see it in his play on the defensive end too (not showing much effort and diving, lighter throws, balls going through him), even though he is still going max effort there and has been terrific in the field, despite him sucking with the bat.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 3 straight innings with a guy on 2nd 1 out or less...we really need to score in these situations.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I don't have the stats, but it seems the Jays have really struggled with runners on and stranded a lot of runners. Maybe it just seems that way i'm too lazy to look up the numbers.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 This offense is pathetic.. JD better call them out soon.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Come on, guys. Quintana looks mortal out there for once. Take advantage.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Hero swings instead of a selfless approach........... The offense from the playoffs has carried into this season.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Ugh, another clumsy April. When's the last time the team had an enjoyable start to the year? 2010?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Navarro calls a good game Quintana has been terrible imo. Also every other pitch is 92 middle of the plate it seems like. We still can't hit a pitchers mistake. Last year we would be cruising to victory.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Bautista and EE with a couple of free agent AB's.

But that's been the offense for a few years. Last year we had Travis, Reyes, Revere, and anyone who hit 9th get on base. Not happening for the most part this year. The middle of the order seems to be trying to force things as a result.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Marco looks like his shoulder is sore. He grabbed at it after a pitch, and has been shaking his arm out the last few pitches.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 The Pads? That's a weird choice. Although I would love to live in San Diego. Hes from California and went to school at Long Beach.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Just got home to see the lineup. I'm convinced Smoak did something to Gibbons. He can't even get playing time over Matt f***ing Dominquez, and Goins plays over Barney despite being a s***** player in general and even worse against LHP. Seriously. I'm done blaming Gibbons here. Shapiro and Atkins can fire his ass any time they want to. He obviously does not mesh with their organizational philosophy. Cut ties and move the f*** on already. Anyone else would be better.

While I'm not quite as passionate about turfing him as you, his moves this season as a whole have been baffling and it seems like hes just winging it on a daily basis
