intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Strike 2 was a meatball, man.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Why the heck do we keep looking at meatballs down the middle??? Over thinking.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 That 2nd strike was a fat, juicy meatball.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Theme for 2016 - runners left on base
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Navarro just severely mind f***ed Bautista there, especially with that 3-1 fastball.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I'm thinking about switching over to the Heat Bobcats game soon
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 For f*** sake Bautista, would you rather walk than take the bat off your shoulders? Those last 2 were easy strikes and fastballs in your sweet spot.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Theme for 2016 - runners left on base I'm partial to Strikeout Looking
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 3-1 fastball down the middle and Bautista takes it again...wtf is he doing. Looks like he has mailed it in
jimmygibbssr Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Last years team was legit good, probably the best in baseball on paper WTF you talking about? The offense has always been great, add Donaldson and it was elite. Then get Tulo, Revere and Price at the deadline, that team should have won t all last year, some s*** luck and Gibbons being a tard cost them. I agree last years team was legit good. But from a March 2015 perspective, the Nationals were probably the best team on paper.
jimmygibbssr Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Love the Rickard 3 run shot vs the Rays.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Why the heck do we keep looking at meatballs down the middle??? That 2nd strike was a fat, juicy meatball. Bautista was looking off speed on that 3-1 pitch, thinking they would never throw him a fastball strike in that situation. It was a great call from Navarro, gutsy though.
jays76 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 The first meatball was forgiveable but the second one was egregious by Bats.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 It would be nice to have to hit strikes... this umps zone is huge

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 That's one ugly shirt. Have you seen the one they're giving away on June 22nd? http://mlb.mlb.com/tor/images/y2016/schedule/edwing_tshirt_200x200.jpg
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Martin has 27 strike outs already. Damn.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Bautista was looking off speed on that 3-1 pitch, thinking they would never throw him a fastball strike in that situation. It was a great call from Navarro, gutsy though. That had nothing to do with Navarro.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 3-1 fastball down the middle and Bautista takes it again...wtf is he doing. Looks like he has mailed it in I think a few of the hitters are realy over thinking at the plate right now. Instead of looking for the ball and a location they're trying to guess what the pitcher is going to throw and get crossed up in crucial situations
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Here comes the winning run for the Sox
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Have you seen the one they're giving away on June 22nd? http://mlb.mlb.com/tor/images/y2016/schedule/edwing_tshirt_200x200.jpg Oh my, I'll be sure not to go that day
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 2 on, they ain't walking bases loaded to EE Quintana can throw a curve ball strike pretty much any time he wants though.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Quintana can throw a curve ball strike pretty much any time he wants though. I was thinking that after. He can throw everything for a strike.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Oh my, I'll be sure not to go that day I happened to buy tickets for that game a while ago and then I saw that shirt a few days ago...probably won't make it a priority to get there early that day.
