Has anyone bothered to admit the possibility that Sanchez just doesn't want to throw his secondary pitches?

 

Perhaps, but Martin has a history since last season of calling far too many fastballs, so it's not like this is random thought. If Sanchez is saying that, then Martin has to approach the mound and talk him out of it. Once the timing is down, it's BABIP city unless more off-speed is used.

Ok but how is Martin suppose to force him to throw it? It doesn't matter if he calls it or not, if Sanchez doesn't want to throw it he's not going to.

He's not really wrong. Seems like every fielding mistake ends up changing the game. Plus no one can hit. Jays are awful to watch right now.
