burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Boy, we should really fire this Walker idiot and replace him with that Calloway guy dont tell Thanos that. He still thinks Walkers tells his pitchers to pitch to contact.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Walker has been lowkey good for so long. We just never had this much talent in the rotation lol I wouldn't give Walker too much credit. Sanchez and Stroman are prime arms. Failures of Cecil as a starter, Romero eventually, Morrow loom the largest on his resume. Drabek also failed under his watch. He has done well since 2015 onwards but a lot of big arms failed under his watch.

Cecil and Romero failed in 2012... and was Drabek even on the team in 2013? Morrow's biggest issue was his health not his stuff

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 ALDS MVP? Carrera? Tulo or Edwin
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Is it my imagination or was the game time changed for tomorrow's game

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 lol how are the Cubs not the favorites?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 lol how are the Cubs not the favorites? Tougher matchup for this upcoming round maybe? I would have thought they'd still be the favourite.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 lol how are the Cubs not the favorites? They haven't even clinched their NLCS birth yet. The fact that they are practically the favourites in spite of that is a testament to how good they are. If and when they beat the Giants, they will be the favourites.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Tulo or Edwin Nope, it's clearly JD. Batted like .500 and played excellent D.

Nationals and Dodgers are both tough teams, which is why the odds for the Cubs are not higher.
flafson Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 ALDS MVP? Carrera? According to FanGraphs, it's JD followed by Osuna.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Nationals and Dodgers are both tough teams, which is why the odds for the Cubs are not higher. So you don't think eliminating the Giants will improve their odds?
flafson Verified Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 So you don't think eliminating the Giants will improve their odds? It will, right now Cubs have a 79% chance to win the NLDS, that number is calculated when they give them 27.3% to win the world series. We had the same thing, when we had to play the wild card, our chances were much lower mainly because you have to win 1 more series than anyone else.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 lol smells like you just put them up and are hoping for a quick sale. lol no, I just saw them while browsing and noticed that nothing is that close to cheaper. I actually considered buying it but my stubhub credit card is not the one I have in my wallet right now. Currently scouting prices because I'm feeling good about our chances, and I think it may be a Cubs-Jays showdown. If that's the case I'll just flip tickets on stubhub and then buy one of those sightline seats (only $400) edit: they disappeared
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Has anyone ever been to sightlines restaurant? Are all the seats next to the edge? I don't want to buy a seat and have it deep inside the restaurant and I will be forced to watch from a TV Also, is there a way to get into the stadium and down the concourse from inside the restaurant?
