RIP Travis

is it too early to give him the fragile tag?

This is a small thing though, this is like Donaldson's thumb. Pesky thing but not DL worthy

Well that sucks. His timing didn't look that great before he got injured.

well he did belt out 2 homers the series before his injury so it was turning around

As long as he's actually healthy I'm not overly concerned.

Just need everyone healthy by Monday, please. If it means Travis & Saunders rest all weekend against the Twinkies than do it.

f*** heard the roof might be closed. Now I gotta desperately get rid of these tickets for the same price I paid for them.

O yah I know. As much as I am not a fan of Bautista the Jays need him if they want to win in October.

Does the roof effect prices that much?

It absolutely can. Depends on the game as well. I got out for the same price I paid so all good

Talk about meaningful baseball,

after 20 years of meaningless baseball, its like every game matters, every game out of town matters

Twins @ Jays

Royals @ RedSox

Orioles @ Yankees

Tigers @ Angels

Big Big Games.

Lets win today.

Lmfao no wonder they're canning people gotta change the culture

Still not a fan of firing Fasano

This guy is a bit over the top with the quotes. He's also said that "Batting average is Satan." but that doesn't mean he's bad in his job. He's a bit of a pregame prep guru. Bautista, Tumbo and Goldshchmidt all rely on his teachings. His big thing is preaching the importance of watching what opposing pitchers do throughout the whole game and making observations as opposed to just focusing exclusively on your own PAs. That seems like pretty sensible thinking.

You can read about it (and also get the Satan quote), here: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/45814282/steve-springer-works-with-blue-jays-minor-leaguers-on-mental-approach-to-the-game/

I have never thought that, the roof status having that much of a effect on the resale market. Now yesterday the weather was pretty terrible pregame. Did not stop me from heading down, but can see how some would decide it was Not a night to make a last minute call to head down and grab a ticket.

In some ways I do not get Jays attendance, from one night to the next it can drop by 1,500-2,000 and got right back up again the third night of a three game series. Just look at the Angels series as an example. What's the deal with this?

Didn't get to watch much of the Angels series what was the attendance like?

How much of a draw would Tebow be for minor league affiliates? If he's got any game at all surely some team will sign him for that reason alone. I think it'd be fun if the Jays signed him.

Here is for the three game series vs. the Angels:

Tuesday: 46,696

Wednesday: 44, 404

Thursday: 46, 273

Not sure where over 2,000 went from Tuesday to Wednesday night and then pretty much showed up again the next night. I wonder what the threshold is for the Jays to consider a game a sellout?

I'm so sorry I went with my wife on Wednesday, I left after the 5th inning.

Maybe they count attendance during the 6th inning, after I left.
