I was pretty blown away to see Upton only having one game in RF. I actually think that could be his best position. We would have a threat on first to third situations and throws to home again.

Resting Saunders and Tulo makes a lot of sense. They are both made of glass so you try to do that day game after night games as often as possible. Unfortunately the plan was always to DH Bautista today so they both come out of the line up because of that.

 

Whenever people complain how s***** our lineup is we usually score a ton of runs so keep it up. Plus Perdomo is hot garbage. Theoretically we should have no problem with him.

It seems like all of the long time Jays have done it a couple of times. EE, Hill, Lind, Wells, even Zaun...Hell, I remember Corey Patterson, John McDonald, and Ryan Goins doing it lol.

Yeah I don't mind resting Tulo and Saunders. They are both prone to injury and it is a day game after an extra innings night game. Still enough to beat the Pads although with the Dickster on the mound you never know.
