Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) Meh, a day of rest for the boys, and there's plenty of games on all day. Day of rest is good. Maybe we can actually see Storen is he's needed now. Edited April 7, 2016 by Krylian
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Day of rest if good. Maybe we can actually see Storen is he's needed now. It bugs me to an irrational extent that they actually didn't use him because he had WARMED UP the day before. Talk about wearing dresses.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Is it time to start up a dubious, reactionary Storen conspiracy theory? Velocity down. Availability limited. Damaged goods?

Also they named Osuna closer. The evidence is mounting that Drew Storen is pitching injured and everybody knows it. lol
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 What's Storen's velocity been at so far?
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 What's Storen's velocity been at so far? He was down like ~2mph in his first game, vs. 2015. 92 instead of 94. He's done

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Kendall Graveman starting today Didn't realize he had made the A's starting rotation. Or was even 100% healthy. I read his velocity was way up this spring too.

I just checked his Fangraphs page and his fastball velocity in 2015 was 94.1 and this year it's 91.7. Is Storen injured? Damaged goods?

Talk about wearing dresses. Was the reason? Most likely Gibbons just not trusting the guy, like Lowe, Hendriks. He seems to gravitate to certain players for some reason.

admin Site Manager Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 And he trusts Leon??? Must have soft gums. No kidding. I'm not going to trust my proven guys, let's see what this fringe minor leaguer will do in this tight game that we should win.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 My godfather. Fernandez' son and I are very close.

Well, they didn't want to see Biagini unless it's for long-relief I guess.. plus they wanted to see if Leon was worth keeping a roster spot, which after that outing, proved that he isn't deserving of one. But Gibbons made a mistake to put him in after Floyd--should've had him go after Happ was taken out.

Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Leon suxx after 2 hitters? - NO. The error was the situation-moment, not the performance. Leon should have never been brought in but nonetheless he was terrible. IIRC, he only had three pitches in the zone one was a hanger one was hard hit and one was a HR. Like I said Leon should never have been brought in in that situation but he still isn't a good pitcher.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Leon suxx after 2 hitters? - NO. The error was the situation-moment, not the performance. The situation was bad. Leon was also bad.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 The situation was bad. Leon was also bad. You're angry because he destroyed the whole Canadian team with his fists. ---->
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 ^ See Rogers doenst make money on Jays advertising. They have to give it away for free lmao to justify the hockey

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Seems like Rogers is a very poorly run company. Its like half the executives have no idea what they're doing.
