I really have no issues with Saunders playing 4/7 games and getting time off to keep him healthy at this point in the year. I really do dislike seeing Carrera being the guy replacing him.

Seriously, where the f*** is Ceciliani? Why do we care about losing Carrera?

I know several guys are underperforming on their true talent right now, and will improve, but the pitching is honestly driving me crazy. I don't trust ANY of them right now. Tired of coughing up the lead multiple times almost every game.

Everytime I see Dickey, I want to throw up. The fact that he is tied to Thole and cost us Thor and Darnaud has to make this the worst trade in Jays history.

It is...without a doubt. It'd like when the Expos traded Sizemore, B.Phillips and Cliff Lee for Bartolo Colon.

Gibbons, on rookie Joe Biagini: “I like everything we’ve seen … He’s handling it like a big pro.

Early days but may need to mix it up a bit. Hopefully Hutchison will do well in Buffalo. Though Thole was supposed to be the knuckleball catching God? Thankfully him and Dickey will both be gone in '17. (May be a bit unfair only one game)

If we put Floyd in the rotation or Chavez instead of Dickey I would like out starting rotation a lot.

Red Sox legend David Ortiz thinks Edwin Encarnacion should replace him as the Sox’ DH after he retires, WEEI’s Rob Bradford writes. “Hell, yeah. He’s a perfect replacement,” Ortiz says. “Because of everything, but mostly because he can hit.” Encarnacion says he still wants to play first base as well as DH, but he’s already talked to Ortiz about the possibility of playing DH full-time in the future (although not for the Red Sox specifically).

lol I haven't even watched it yet but just that still of Shapiro is killing me.

I'd rather he be fine for someone else.

Lol. Yeah that's the whole situation in a nutshell. That being said he really has pitched well despite the bloated ERA.

Yeah it was a weird throw. Could have slipped or something though. Something to watch.

Sooo is anyone else concerned by the way Bautista's arm looked today on that Goin's play? It looked very, very weak.

Seemed he was just aiming it to make a clean relay rather than leaning into it. It didn't even make it in the air to Goins so it took a nice pick from Goins to make the play. Something to watch for but I don't think it's anything.

Tulo sucks someone fix him.

I don't think we will see 170 wRC+ Tulo again but I think he will come around. He doesn't seem to have a plan at the plate right now. Takes decent FB strikes to hit and chases breaking balls. Hope it's just a post leg kick experiment slump.

Cito and Dwayne Murphy to the rescue.

Nah not worried about his arm. I am worried about his fielding though. He looked pretty bad last year and he's looked even worse this year so far.

Jose would look good playing 1st with Cola/Smoak on another team and a solid player in RF...maybe Pompey. Then I'd love to see a Brock Holt type player with versatility on the bench. There sure is a massive need for those type of players these days.

We could really use Venditte in the pen vs the Yankees. Im getting sick and tired of the roster construction being hindered on mediocrity at best types hoping to pan out due to no options. It's a real joke.

The problem is you'll also complain if they lose Leon and/or send Biangini back and then get hit with injures and end up using Funsto Carmona and the boys because we don't have any depth...

Venditte at MiLB so far:

I mean he was pretty bad last year... I won't lie I have my doubts we get much from him, even if he does remain healthy.

and no I dont care about the switching teams narrative that made him 'upset' apparently leading to his poor performance; hes an adult not a child with newly divorced parents.
