As much as he *might* help us, I'd absolutely hate having to cheer for him. If he comes cheap and isn't guaranteed the closer's job though, sure.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 All depends on price but dumpster diving for BP pieces is usually the way to go.
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Rodney has already been down the toilet and back once. Can he swirl around one more time? Stay tuned and find out, on this weeks episode of Fire Shapiro

Are you saying that you have a source or are your quoting someone? Is there an embedded tweet that I'm just not seeing at the moment?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 still lol'ing when he did that stupid bow sign when getting replaced mid inning.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 no harm in trying out a guy like Fernando. Seems to just take one thing to click for him to dominate, then its gone the next year.

You wouldn't want to trust him in a 1 run game, nor would you hand the ball to him up by three.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 the idiot that doesn't know how to wear a hat. no thanks.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 When someone says "Fernando Rodney" all I hear is "Francisco Cordero".
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 There is absolutely no way I could ever cheer for Rodney. He's just like Jose Valverde in that regard. Don't care if he ends up being decent, no part of me can get excited about that sideways hat wearing douchebag.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I couldn't see the full title of the thread from the main page link, but I eagerly clicked it thinking "Jays in talks with who? who??" and now I'm trying really hard to think of a name more disappointing than the one it turned out being.

Lol. Talk about a buzz kill. AA was adept at pickin through the dumpster. Appears Shapiro is meeting that challenge. I f***in hate Rodney.
Molitor Verified Member Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I don't like Rodney, with his sideways cap and stupid arrow shooting nonsense. He's also emo and a headcase. Tampa was in Toronto a few years back and I was sitting above the Rays bullpen, so I heckled him when he was warming up and he went crying to the security guard to do something about me. Not very focused Rodney!!
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Didn't the Jays just tee off on him multiple times last season? Not a fan.

Not very focused Rodney!! Maybe you weren't funny and that's what offended him Not saying you aren't generally funny, just maybe in that moment.

Not very focused Rodney!! You must have been sitting very close to me that game because I watched that happen from my seat. What a tool.
