I am sorry you ended up the bad guy, but abuse of men is the minority. Cities dont have shelters for abused men for a reason. I do believe you though. My nephew ended up in pretty much the same situation, but police did believehim.

 

Yeah because men getting abused is an issue no one cares about.

Well, to be fair, violence against men isn't really as big a deal. I'm 100 pounds bigger than Mrs. BTS, and if she swung at me in anger it would be cute. If I swung at her in the same situation with the same effort she'd be in the hospital.

The guy got in to a he-said/she-said domestic dispute with multiple members of his family and then went and shot his garage up. The guy clearly has anger issues.

 

You guys are acting like he lost his temper playing cards and went outside and threw some rocks in to a pond.

They have become mens rights activists. Any domestic issue, no matter the facts, is a soapbox opportunity for these boys.

Yeah but I honestly have such a low expectation for athletes. The fact he avoided physically harming his gf in this scenario and instead elected to shoot bullets in a wall is a win when I've grown accustomed to things turning out so much worse.

That's not the case all the time, though, and emotional abuse can be impactful.

 

I'm not trying to frame it as though it's a 50/50 split in any way, but there are pretty much zero shelters for abused men when 20% of domestic violence victims are men.

 

It's just for thought. I'm in the same boat as you, I doubt my gf could physically harm me without a weapon if she tried.

Back in high school while drunk I let my girlfriend punch me as hard as she could in the face. Pretty stupid, but I didn't even feel it. No marks. Really funny.

 

Couple of weeks later, two friends do the same thing. But this chick was more butch... thick black arm hair and stuff. She knocked him out cold and to add injury to injury he clocked his head on a rock when he fell down. Meathead!

Didn't say he was hurt though. My guess is Dodgers will call off the deal. At least try to send a less return.
