if I were the Dodgers I would have made a preliminary trade for Chapman, but then leaked the report to the media and tried a lowball offer.

Friedman has used convicted rapists out of his bullpen before a little domestic violence won't bother him will it?

i wish someone would say that to him

Why does he even need a gun? Just carry around some baseballs and give any perps the heater.

And Lueke didn't even throw 105.

Alleged domestic violence. She didn't even have a scratch, unfair to frame it that way since he said she tackled him and she said he "choked" her. Seems like the police didn't feel compelled to make any arrests.

He also shot a bullet through a window into a field. Imagine there was an innocent by stander who got shot if he was standing outside that window. f***in idiot could of killed someone.

So a guy shot a legally-owned gun into an empty field that may or may not be his own property?

There are places to do that legally and he didn't shoot in to an open field, he shot from inside through a window. He was a f***ing idiot. I don't like to assume the worst from allegations but don't assume nothing happened, clearly something did and if you're a GM you need to question his behaviour for future incidents.

Not questioning the legality of his actions, but gun ranges do exist to relieve steam or whatever he was feeling at the time. Shooting a gun within your own house (with people inside), without regard to who may be harmed as a result, just doesn't seem like a very bright idea.

You can't be shooting a gun in your garage as I'm sure that is a "danger" to neighbours. You're pretending like he calmly shot a gun into an empty field. He got pissed went on a rampage breaking car windows and fired a gun 8 times in his own garage.

There is a context in which this is bad, but looking out your window, seeing nobody in the field, and firing a round into nothing isn't exactly proof that he's some kind of reckless moron.

Seeing as he was not charged, it looks like you can in fact be shooting a gun in your garage.

What if he had no neighbors, likely lives on a few acres. The police would have likely charged him if he hit the neighbors property.

How do you know he looked out the window??? He obviously was angry enough to take a gun and start firing. And she obviously had a reason for being afraid.

So we're all supposed to be outraged because HE MIGHT NOT HAVE LOOKED WHERE HE WAS SHOOTING?! (even though nobody was hit, no charged were filed, and there is no evidence that he didn't know exactly where he was shooting).

What if he shot a bullet through the garage door and hit one of the people at his house? It didn't sound like Chapman was "thinking" about his actions when he shot off his gun 8 times lol.

Sure, he's a big dude who throws 105 mph baseballs for a living. I'm sure him being mad is scary but he didn't hurt her in any way.

No perhaps you should not automatically dismiss what a woman says about abuse. There were no charges laid because his employees covered his ass.

This is the part that makes him look bad.

What if he took a knife and stabbed someone in the chest? It sounds like he was out of control and this could have happened.

To be fair, if you heard random gunshots going on off in your neighbour's house, would you not be concerned? Sure legally he might have been able to do what he did without repercussions, and the whole issue might be exaggerated (depending on the validity of the domestic abuse allegations), but this is the kind of issue where out of rage someone could have gotten hurt, even if Chapman didn't mean to wound anyone.

Lol you're so f***ing biased.

She wasn't harmed. At all. Through her own admission. Claims to have been choked with not even a mark.

This is a pretty big assumption.
