Do we have to compensate the Indians for Atkins???

I doubt it. Other teams aren't complete *******s about letting someone go for a better opportunity like the Orioles.

Never fails to amaze me how some people still don't understand how important payroll is in relation to wins.

That's very true, but, it's like having fantastic peripherals and middling results. I really hope Pyro continues on and does great things here, but, until the team wins and makes the playoffs I'm not beholden to him.

If the Indians were sold and their payroll went up to $150M, how many teams would look to have a brighter future? I think easily fewer than 5.

Please answer. And name your teams.

Hair game is a 55

Style is a 45

Shoes are a 60

But that package is at least a 75.

True. He's obviously toolsy but can get get everything out of his package? We've seen this before.

Not in any order,

Dodgers

Cardinals

Cubs

Mets

Astros

And maybe the Pirates. The Indians would certainly be challenging top 5 but would have a few teams ahead of them.

Makes a lot of sense. I just wish it happened before they gave Happ 3 years.

Why?

Unlikely. Most teams only require compensation for lateral moves, this is a promotion for him. If teams blocked their employees from taking promotions, they'd have a hard time getting quality employees.

I think I'd only take the Dodgers, Cardinals and Cubs. The Mets aren't close for me. Both have the elite 3 SP, but I like the Lindor, Brantley, Kipnis, Gomes core better than Conforto, d'Arnaud, Flores and Duda.

That probably would have happened anyway. I don't think LaCava had any real power in the GM spot.

I was thinking about it after you posted it and I'd agree Dodgers, Cardinals, Cubs, Indians and then probably for me Houston rounding out my top 5.

That is fair. I am guessing you don't buy into the Mets prospect depth vs the Indians? Its prospects so by this time next year the organizational depth could swap depending on performance but the Mets do have a deeper pool for now.

Matz is good, but the difference between guys like Cecchini, Rosario, Nimmo, and Smith vs. Frazier, Zimmer, Sheffield, Kaminsky etc... doesn't really move the needle on an org ranking for me.

Fair enough. Either way, to your point, yeah not many teams that would be better than the Indians. haha

Reddit's BlueJays subreddit has become unreadable. This is what occurs when you get a tonne of casual fans who don't know how baseball off seasons and contracts work demanding a winner. I'm hoping this front office doesn't care about what fans want and just works to putting the best team on the field while strengthening our minor league system. I was scared that under AA we were going to be the Phillies 2.0.

Where does a man find a decent fitting pair of jeans? A pair that isn't designed to be worn half-way up your ass crack like some wannabe rapper.

Depends on what size you are. H&M has some nice jeans. Or if you're like me you find some in the Husky section of K-Mart.

I struggle with this. I'm not saying I want jnco's, but a 210-lb man should not be wearing skinny jeans.

Lol at me fitting into a pair of H&M jeans. I'm not huge but there's no way anyone past their twenties can squeeze their butt into those.

No but a standard fit dark wash, something for a mall brand American Eagles slim fit are good.
