If this going to be the tone of your posts, you might just have to go back into forced hiding. Behave please. I know you were somewhat provoked but your reaction is out of proportion.

Look I agree that Candy would have been better off leaving you alone but for god's sake if he baits you into an argument, you are under no obligation to take the bait. If you want to let him provoke you into getting yourself banned, go right ahead but if you do that, you're only doing exactly what he wants you to do.

Kingkat and so are you by what you have done or our doing !!!

Have a Nice day! :)

Again maybe you should warn candy as well for this is all he does here and not just to me!

His response was the fuse! Boom goes the dynamite !

Maybe you should tell him stop staking me and to stop and cease responding to me as well! Wow

Apparently he would always refer to himself in 3rd person whenever talking to someone.

Was the Seinfield episode based on Ricky? Or was Ricky just a huge fan?

I thought your comment was wrong - then checked the career WAR on fangraphs. Olerud was 57.3 to Delgado's 44.2. That surprised me. Career wRC+ was 130 for olerud vs. 135 for Delgado. so a lot of olerud value came defensively (plus olerud played about 200 more games)

Thanks for that insight...

Anyone else notice Olerud and Delgado are both trending on the Fangraph's website (when you just click on the search square and a list of trending names comes up)? I can only assume that is directly related to this thread and all you nerds who, like me, went to compare Olerud and Delgado...

I noticed this too and had the exact same thought.

How come Olerud is not talked about as much as others on those 92/93 teams? Even going by traditional stats he batted .363 in 1993! He should be in the level of excellence just for that.

He was a boring guy with a quiet personality, was a VERY slow baserunner and just sort of quietly hit for average and extra base power from the 5 hole. Most people weren't that infatuated with him I guess. Me, I bought his jersey.

Ala Fred McGriff...who was also massively underrated and better than Robbie Alomar (while they were Blue Jays)

McGriff has a good batting average and hit homeruns. Most fans loved him except for a few morons who thought he wasn't clutch because of a September homerun drought in 1989. For the most part he wasn't underrated when still a Jay. The problem is that because he was traded before the World Series, he was quickly fogotten/overlooked by many but not all. I wasn't a very sophisticated fan by any stretch but even back then it wasn't hard for me to tell that he was a better hitter than Joe Carter.

Man I remember being so frustrated with McGriff towards the end of '89. He was standing so far off the plate I couldn't understand how he ever expected to make contact. This team was very blessed with 1B for a long time.

Indeed. McGrill/Olerud/Delgado are all among my favorite Jays of all time.
