Lol wow. No thanks. I haven't been paying attention to this stuff lately but I'd comfortably pay O'Day twice whatever Soria is worth.

What's the consensus on Madson? Sipp and Madson would make this bullpen great. Really want Sipp.

 

Probably could get Blanton, Cahill, or even Oh, signing them two, another power arm is Ang's cousin, Bastardo.

Would you consider a reunion with Rzepczynski? Projected for a 3.17 FIP and had an inflated ERA, so he might be cheap. I'd rather not spend big on a third lefty considering we already have 2 pretty solid ones.

 

Jonathan Broxton is a similar option from the right side. He also had an inflated ERA, but still throws 94+ with lots of strikeouts and decent command.

I like those names. And ya picked up on Bastardo lurking around here, but sounded like he didn't want to play in Canada. Blanton/Cahill/Oh + Sipp and Madson would be a fantastic bullpen. If Madson gets 3 years, which I'm not crazy about, could always go O'Day + Thornton or try to get a lefty reliever for Revere.

 

Now that I've done some research, lots of guys worth looking at. Hopefully we're aggressive with relievers and try to land 2 guys in that $4-8M AAV.

We need innings especially if hutch,Shanchez and Osuna start or stay in AAA as starters so they ready for 2017 rotation spots!

No, not Janssen, this is BS. A closer sure... not puss!

 

I'm pretty much with you on this one. I like a flame throwing closer. they can make small mistakes and get away with it more where a guy like Jansen makes a mistake and it's a souvenir.

I'd rather have Lowe Back. Even if thats all we get, Now that Osuna is a lock to stay in the pen, we would be okay with a back-end of Cecil, Lowe, Sanchez, Osuna combined with a Shultz, Loup, and a mop up uy or two.
