Lost on my 25th birthday and couldn't be any prouder of this team. Amazing run

Yeah, this was a fantastic year. I have no complaints (except for the ump/mlb/announcer bias in the playoffs)

And happy birthday!

Happy birthday!

Man I'm proud our team. No matter what. I cooled down after everything and you know what, it's fine. We'll be here next year. We'll get a top starter, possible few bullpen pieces here and here, and we'll be bonified #1 favorites for the crown. We can't keep relying on 5+ runs a game but if we can tweak the pitching we'll be set.

Awesome season guys, let the OT ramblings begin!

Boys had a great year. Just a bad ending. I'll take it. Hoping we pickup some quality players for next year to keep the ball rolling in 2016

I just wish we could have had Buck and Tabler call the playoff games. Otherwise it was a fun postseason and awesome 2 months leading up to it. Life goes on.

I've never missed them as much as I did prior to these playoffs. My God the FOX broadcast was simply brutal.

Amazing season, unforgettable playoff run. Will be remembered for years to come. That Bautista HR of game 5 ALDS will remain an iconic moment in Blue Jays history.

Let's not forget how the season looked before the deadline deals. Who would have thought we would have been in for all this madness here in October? We're fortunate to have experienced this all.

Let's better it in 2016!

If you told any of us back in July that we'd rally to be a playoff team, when we were treading mediocrity for most of the year and had a horrible first two months masked by an 11 game win streak... or so we thought, I'd be like "da f*** are you guys smoking?". But either way, we managed to rally, and that was even with Tulo being hurt and Tulo not being Tulo with the bat. Oh, and Travis hurt too for most of the year. As much as Price has been s*** on for his playoff numbers, those 3, 4 starts he made against the Yankees... he pretty much secured the division for us on those alone. It was the first time we got a pitcher we could call an ace since Doc, even if it was only half a year.

If you guys told me we'd win after coming back from down 0-2 in the ALDS as well, I'd have called y'all even crazier. Yet we did. Took some well time dongs, 2 quality starter outings, and Elvis Andrus... but we did.

I would never have envisioned us bowing out in the ALCS when this year started. I'd have just envisioned another mediocre year, AA being canned after the year as well as Gibbons, a horrible rotation with analytic god Hutch, old men Dickey and Buehrle, and totally unproven Sanchez and Norris with no back up plan other than a career tweener in Estrada who would never ever be able to have probably even one good outing in this division, guys like Osuna and Castro being horrible as unproven kids jumping up from single A and a rag tag bullpen being the downfall of a great offense.

Guess it just goes to show... A. AA is awesome and has adapted really well on the job and B. What in the flying f*** do I know. Instead, first time in over a decade I've been proud to call a Toronto sports team a legitimate top tier team. We didn't win it, but you know what? We'll be back. I promise.

Hats off to a great year. Ever since I became old enough to actually understand pro sports... this is the first time I legitimately feel excited going forward.

Same here. Lineups returning. We're probably going to lock Estrada in on a multi or get a draft pick for him, and lock up Donaldson for a loooooooooooooooong time. We got lots of money now. We sign or trade for a starter and bullpen pieces we'll be prime. We have Revere, Navvy and Colabello as excellent trade candidates. Great makeup for next year.

winning the division was cool. but get the f*** to work AA or whoever our GM will be. You might think an ALCS berth will make us forget 22 years of mediocrity, but we won't. we want more.

Thanks also to Elvis Andrus for allowing us to watch an extra 6 games and witness the Bautista bat flip :)

This can honestly not be understated. The Blue Jays were given that game. Andrus was Bucknoring all over the place.

a team that started the year as a .500 team and ownership/AA made huge commitments to the team to help them win the division and take us on a wild ride through 2 rounds of the playoffs. It was a great year no matter how it ended. Some of the most exciting baseball for jays fans in over 2 decades.

I wish it didn't end in the hands of the ump like that, but that's what we've signed up for as mlb fans, humans having to do the impossible job of determining balls and strikes.

Been a fan since Day 1 and waited 22 years to get back to the post season. We came within 2 games of the WS again and played hard. One of last 3 teams standing.

I went to games in Anaheim, Houston, Tampa and TOR a few times....and then hit my first ever playoff games against TEX.

Went to 6 games from Calgary with my 7 year old in HOU and TOR and created some lifetime memories. In last home game of season we watched the JD walk off with the dome open. Doesn't get much more exciting.

What an electric thrilling ride right to the end. Love my Jays and thanks to the folks on here we shared this with. Bring on 2016.

A big thing going forward is that the Jays front office finally decided that they need substance over style. it was a new direction for them and the team got a lot better to watch. there should be money available to make moves and players should be very interested to be part of this team going into next year
