Imagine if Yost had used Lowe in game 1 down by 3 and Sanchez in game 2 to try to keep the deficit at 1, not to mention not using Hendriks either, he'd be dumberer than he is. What if he had asked Ben Revere to bunt in the 3rd inning with a runner at 2b, no outs and a run already in. Good thing only Yost would do such things or these would've actually taken place.

I agree with the momentum shifter...he had set down 18 in a row and there was a one pitch one out for the 19th. It totally energized the crowd and KC much like Tex faced in our house in Game 5.

 

But Price has to do better to stem that tide. He completely let it go and I don't blame Gibby for leaving him in with all those LHH. I didn't expect that meltdown and we didn't have Cecil to shut them down.

 

Oh well...get them on Monday.

Pompey has a much higher ceiling. Revere is s*** and has been his whole career.

 

Gibby is f***ing crazy man. If this team comes back to win the WS this year it will be in spite of him. This team would be so much better with a good manager.

 

Head scratcher in the 9th for me - PH Pennington for Goins. I get pinch hitting for Goins, but with the only guy on the team worse than him? What the f***? And then he pulled a Ned Yost of course and it worked out for him when Penny walked.

There's a lot of people on here saying revere has been s*** in the playoffs but it's simply not true. He had at least one hit in every game vs the rangers and finished the ds with roughly a .300 avg. also I can't recall any times his d has hurt us either. He just hasn't done anything in the alcs so far.
