Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 don't you think the 'stros have a better shot? I think the Yankees would annihilate the Royals. Astros would win in 6 or 7 games. And I feel we would beat all 3 of them. Texas is probably the toughest matchup for us.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 That was a monster bomb from Colby
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Gump with the low pitch.... He loves it.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Not to mention a beast bat flip

Texas is probably the toughest matchup for us. They're the worst team in the playoffs and their only good starter is left-handed. They're the best matchup for Toronto.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Ugh, that overlayed strike zone on espn broadcast is super annoying... I hope sportsnet never goes down that path and keep it as is. Why? It's great.
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Colby so #wet he needs a new jersey
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Chris Carter always gets hot in the second half. He might carry this Astros team. He is pretty terrifying when hes making contact.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Why? It's great. This. I don't understand the hate, you get to see where the pitch landed in the zone as soon as it crosses the plate. Much easier to criticize the umpire.

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Why isn't Ellsbury in the lineup?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 They're the worst team in the playoffs and their only good starter is left-handed. They're the best matchup for Toronto. I think that Texas series is going 5 games and all of them will be close. Could go either way. That series will come down to how well David Price pitches.
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Why isn't Ellsbury in the lineup? Garbage since he came back + Chris Young destroys lefties. Had to do it.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 Excellent approach at the plate by the Astros this inning.
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Texas is the best matchup. The Yankees and Astros are better than Texas. to me, the key is the bottom of our line-up. Guys like Pillar, Goins - if they have good ABs, get on base, i'm comfortable with anybody. i just don't know how many HRs we can count on... if we hit a bunch, than it'll be over for us early...
Rajais Mitten Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Oh man and the bases are juiced
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Boy, Tanaka is not sharp.. and a HR here pretty much could put the Astros on a plane to Kansas City, considering the Yanks are having trouble scoring.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 i never watch espn but john kyruck sucks
43211234 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I guess Tanaka should've had tjs.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Garbage since he came back + Chris Young destroys lefties. Had to do it. Oh ok thanks
43211234 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I guess Japanese pitchers just can't pitch in the post season.
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Texas is the best matchup. The Yankees and Astros are better than Texas. someone was saying that one of those Root/Jays jacket costs $600 and even though he could buy one, he wouldn't because he is not an idiot. So are you an idiot for paying over 2 grand for those front row seats?
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 It's hard not to love a Rasmus homer. Some of the nicest looking bombs in the game from a lefty.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 This. I don't understand the hate, you get to see where the pitch landed in the zone as soon as it crosses the plate. Much easier to criticize the umpire. To me the box calls too much attention to itself and takes away from taking in the whole pitcher/batter experience. Like sportsnet's solution better where it's in a separate box so I can see it after the pitch hits the glove if I'm curious about it (plus it tracks all the previous pitches).
