From what I remember, Sanchez could still miss bats in the minors, despite the control issues. Also, I haven't read about it, but does his FB have good movement, or is it straight?

Sanchez did not have great K rates as a prospect, relative to other top prospects. The lofty BB/9 also made the K/9 overrate his strikeout capabilities, which is important to remember.

What you really care about is K%-BB%, and Sanchez' was pretty awful.

 

I'm not sure what's wrong with Greene. Didn't get a great look at him this spring.

There's plenty of pop in the bat. People need to stop making small sample size proclamations like this one , and the other popular one I've seen lately that he needs to be a better base stealer.

I understand to a point, and yes it would be nice if a few of those singles were doubles or a triple or a homer. But stating that there's no pop in the bat based on 15 PAs is just gruber-esque.
