The Fisher Cats offense is absolutely unhinged right now.

Their last five games:

June 19 - Won 15-2

June 20 - Won 8-5

June 22 - Won 10-5

June 23 - Won 10-3

June 24 - Won 10-2

And they're already up 10-1 today in the 6th inning.

Bowie is a first place team in the SW too. 10-6 now though. There are some horrible +/- in AA right now though. Bottom three teams in NH's division are already more than -220. Gonna be some stat padding going on against certain teams.

Any thoughts on Quinones...10 ks in 5 innings last night for Vancouver. Has a 16/9 k rate this season and 14/9 overall.

The K rate is very exciting. He needs to cut down on the walks though. More than a walk every 2 innings isn't going to cut it once he starts moving up.

Is this the same Quinones that missed a bunch of time with a PED suspension?

Ya. Suspended for 80 games. I hope these are clean stats we're seeing in Vancouver.

Moreno has a day off then plays, then has a day off again. Thats suspect. Would have been good to see him vs Grayson Rodriguez

He's a catcher, he's started 31 of 45 games. 2/3 is pretty standard. I'd prefer to see him DH a bit more when he's not catching but I wouldn't call it suspect.

What happened to the 3B experiment?

Isn't SWR supposed to be pitching today? He last pitched on the 20th if memory serves.

Getting shelled today :(

Holy f***.

6 walks for SWR in 2.1 innings pitched.

Maybe should call him up and put him in the bullpen.

His control hasn't been great this season, and this start will only balloon it.

Looking like career line Robbie Ray, with high K/9 & high BB/9

False

3.30 BB/9 heading into this start. Above average.

Now, it's 5.4 after this start.

But sure, tell me it's false.

6 of his 8 starts have been 2 walks and under

4 of his 8 starts have been 1 walk or under

Also, looks like he was royally squeezed today

Its false

Paxton Schultz is on the bump for the C's today, what's the deal with him? He's the guy the Jays got from Milwaukee for Fisher and the Brewers had him in AAA as a 21 year old in 2019. Now the Jays have him in high A and he's having a fairly decent season. Anyone know why the Brewers had him placed so aggressively coming out of the draft like that?

I think that's just a mistake on Fangraphs. 2019 was rookie ball for him

Yup...

Schultz was a 2019 draft pick, selected in the 14th round by the Brewers out of Utah Valley University. He mostly worked as a starter in college, though he has thus far worked out of the bullpen for 15 of his 17 pro games.

Schultz posted a 3.86 ERA over 23 1/3 innings in rookie ball in 2019, but since the 2020 minor league season was canceled, he was one of six Milwaukee prospects sent to the Australian Baseball League as per the team’s partnership with the ABL’s Brisbane Bandits. The righty got to appear in eight games with Brisbane, posting a 3.29 ERA over 17 1/3 innings and posting a 17-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Trout + Ohtani + Cash to cover both contracts?

To the O's for Cole Sulser and Stevie Wilkerson
