I think one can say Pearson looks very similar to a young Roger Clemens.

He gives me a Randy Johnson vibe

Today's Yahoo writeup:

Braves LHP prospect Kyle Muller fired 5 1/3 scoreless innings on Tuesday for Double-A Mississippi.

Advice: Muller allowed three hits with five strikeouts, but he did walk five. Fortunately for the southpaw, none of the walks ended up hurting him, but it's fair to say that five free passes isn't ideal. A second-round pick in 2016, Muller has a 3.50 ERA over 100 1/3 innings with 62 walks, but he's struck out 110, and shown the swing-and-miss stuff you're looking for in a potential rotation option. The bullpen can't be ruled out -- and it's fair to keep in mind that the Braves are just loaded with pitching options -- but if the command can improve, we could see him pitching every sixth game for the Braves at some point in the next decade.

I have to say, it’s still a fairly robust farm system despite all the graduations. The scouting and player dev have been excellent under the current regimes watch.

Kinda feels more like a Pedro Martinez to me

No that's Marcus Stroman

It's because he's throwing to a bad defensive catcher, all bat no D

They sure have. Hopefully they can transition the big league club to contenders because I love what they've been able to do on the minor league side of things.

Interesting list.

My top 7 would be similar, but Orelvis Martinez and Griffin Conine would be slightly higher for me.

Guess my chirping on BA for Kirk has paid off lol. Manoah, Kirk, and Moreno lined up behind Pardinho confirms our previous theory that they should be in cusp-t100 discussions.

SRF really has no business in the top 10 imo. Patrick Murphy also a tad underrated, same for Maximo Castillo.

Kloff, Williams, and Brown are long term projects. Wouldn’t put them so high until I see results, not just based on draft hype.

Off the top of my head, guys that should be a top 30 name: Josh Winckowski, Otto Lopez, maybe Cullen Large.

Riley Adams should also be a tick higher imo.

Rikelvin De Castro not sure yet.

If you add two more Top 100 prospects from a Stroman & Giles trade, imo this is still a very strong farm system.

Whiffing on Winckowski and Otto Lopez is really bad. Pretty much inexcusable to leave them off. Yennsy Diaz is there at 22 btw.

Yep I agree. Saw Diaz there, oops.

Wincky is a borderline stud now with velocity uptick 2-4 mph, he’s hitting as high as 97-98 and sitting 93-96 regularly. His changeup is much improved and also has one of the better sliders in our whole system. No reason not to include him in top 30. I’d have him in the 15-20 range. The Jays know he’s a solid prospect, he’ll get some love eventually.

Otto Lopez, I am a fan. He’s still very raw (esp defensively and base running decisions) but the talent is very obvious. Give him time to polish. But he’s what you want when you sign a bunch of guys in IFA, you hope they’re athletic and can really hit.

Gavin Lux is a monster: 4-for-4 with 2 doubles today and an HR today.

He's hitting .532 in 15 games....

Joey Murray has been promoted to AA New Hampshire. Time to find out if this kid is legit.

Gabriel Moreno: 2-for-3 with a BB. Now hitting .306/.365/.525, and leads all catchers in A-ball with a 155 wRC+ (min 170 PA). While being the 2nd youngest player A-ball.

Miguel Hiraldo (2017 IFA) is actually handling himself pretty well in his first taste of Appy league. .313/.358/.495, 131 wRC+ and keeping that K-rate under control.

Is this the yips or injury? He seems to have gone full Alec Hansen and you never go full Alec Hansen.

Looks like Joey Murray got hurt, only faced 3 batters. Orelvis Martinez left in the first inning of a Double Header, I assume he's hurt, too.

Why would Evan White be added to the Top 100?

23 year old 1st baseman in AA with a 123 wRC+ ? Doesn't walk, ISO <.200
