mikebel111 Verified Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? I would say SRF or Pentecost.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? Pompey
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? Your grammar sucks If Tellez gets traded I will be disappointed. Anyone else, meh.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? Bo Bitches
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? Why would you assume any significant prospect will be traded this off-season?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? SRF, we aren't exactly swimming in high upside pitching prospects in the upper minors.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Your grammar sucks If Tellez gets traded I will be disappointed. Anyone else, meh. Oh, and Vlad too... how can we forget the next Jays megastar
wamco Verified Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Why would you assume any significant prospect will be traded this off-season? Hypothetical homie
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Hypothetical homie In that case Sean Reid-Foley and Vlad Jr.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I'd be sad to see SRF, Vlad Jr, Alford, Pompey, Tellez and Rios moved.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I'd be sad to see SRF, Vlad Jr, Alford, Pompey, Tellez and Rios moved. Would you be sad if it was for trout?
Sorrow Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Would you be sad if it was for trout? No but I also don't see said package acquiring one Trout.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Author Posted September 7, 2016 The worst think for the jays to do right now is to trade more prospects away. Unless it was Dalton Pompey Anthony Alford Mitch Nay Matt Dean Etc. Ones many over 24 years of age. Not ones under 23 Pompey is 23 Alford is 22 Nay is 22 Dean is 23 Enough is enough todd.
mikebel111 Verified Member Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 John Harris pitched in game 2 for Dunedin today IP: 6 1/3 Hits: 5 ER: 2 K's: 5 BB: 1 90 pitches (58 strikes) Pretty good outing for his 1st career playoff game in pro ball. Apparently hit 96 MPH. Dunedin also won and forced a decisive game 3. Winner of the game heads to the championship series.
sawyerford Verified Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Which prospect is going to break your heart to see traded this offseason? Tellez, McGuire, SRF, Urena Rios, Ramirez oh and vladdy
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 None. I'm not tied to this prospect class they way I was to many in the past. Barely used my milb.tv account this year. That and I only view Vladdy as a high end potential prospect.
WONDERBAT Verified Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 The only prospect that matters in our system is Vlad Jr. everyone else a non-prospect.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 The only prospect that matters in our system is Vlad Jr. everyone else a non-prospect. Urena have a nice trade value right now. ....higher than Vlad Jr

Cyborg Verified Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 My favs would be Vladdy, SRF, and Bichette.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Author Posted September 9, 2016 You don't rate Reid Foley or Bichette? Wonderboy doesn't really follow prospects I don't think.
WONDERBAT Verified Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I'll wait and see on guys that were drafted this year and Reid Foley grades out as average or above average. I don't really see anyone other than Vlad jr and maybe Tellez in our system that could actually have a major impact. Do people actually get excited about Average/Fringe players coming up?

Because some of them turn into superstars and that's amazing to watch. Travis is a good example (although I doubt he reaches superstardom) - Pillar is too (same). I've always been fascinated with young players (in every sport). Maybe I'm drawn to the unknown. I realise most flame out and never become anything - but I love following the process and hoping for the breakout to happen. Watching old boring vets who do the same thing year in and year out is boring.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 My favs would be Vladdy, SRF, and Bichette. Same here exactly.

Did you see Reid-Foley's peripherals this year? The guy looks like Solid 2.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I still believe in Anthony Alford, he had a bad injury riddled season. He has what it takes to be a leadoff hitter and a good one.

Watching old boring vets who do the same thing year in and year out is boring. Travis and pillar were good minor league players... Other than tellez I'm not sure anyone had as good a record as pillar/Travis did. Travis hit .350 one year... Pillar had s bunch of ,300/.320 years.

Ok - but they were always "old" for their level and never considered good/top prospects.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Yeah other than Vladdy, I don't see a superstar prospect in the system. Maybe some players who turn out to be good or solid, maybe even one that shocks and becomes a lot better than they project to be, but Vladdy is probably the best hitting prospect the Jays have had since Delgado (unless I'm forgetting someone).
