Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Didn't you hear? It doesn't matter. It technically is irrelevant but I still want the best record in AL to be of Jays.
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 should use cecil for closer now
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Had Souza 1-2 looking lost and threw 3 sliders nowhere close. I dont understand did he miss or did he waste those pitches? His stuff is good enough if he just threw f***ing strikes.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 So now we don't have control of our own destiny and Hutchison on the mound tomorrow. Just so annoying we punted 2 games in Baltimore.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 So now we don't have control our own destiny and Hutchison on the mound tomorrow. Just so annoying we punted 2 games in Baltimore. Double header man. Ole' ma nature f***ed us.
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Technically no one determines destiny, it is predetermined. We cant control our playoff positioning
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Its time to put that slider on the back burner until next spring training.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 The Ump f***ed Osuna a few times.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Why the f*** are people so pent up about HFA? Seriously it won't matter in the first round and there is no promise the Royals will even get to the 2nd. Even if they do its not as if this team can't win on the road. The bigger underlining issue is Osuan. He's blown quite a few and doesn't inspire confidence heading into the postseason. That concerns me more than HFA.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Double header man. Ole' ma nature f***ed us. Nah everyone should have played game 2 than punted Sunday.
Praxis Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hutchinson's on the mound tomorrow? f*** me, that's it. No-one who will be on the 25 man playoff squad should be out there tomorrow. No-one. If we lose to Texas in the first round, fire Gibbons. It won't save the season, but it'd make me feel 5% better.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 The Ump f***ed Osuna a few times. Nah Osuna f***ed himself.

Osuna is definitely my biggest worry for the playoffs.

venema20 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 The Ump f***ed Osuna a few times. No, no he didn't. Osuna has had awful control lately and when he does hit the strike zone it is right down the middle. This is all on Osuna.
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Cecil may be closing before the end of the playoffs
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 The Ump f***ed Osuna a few times. I don't agree at all.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I really like Osuna but he is in a sustained period of getting hit hard. He isn't throwing enough off speed or he is throwing bad off speed like the sliders to Souza a foot off the plate. Seems to have no confidence in his change. Gibby needs to consider change to Cecil who has been dominant.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I dont understand did he miss or did he waste those pitches? His stuff is good enough if he just threw f***ing strikes. Indicates to me that he's lost a lot of confidence in locating his fastball. Souza hadn't hit a high fastball all day (and was late on it that whole at bat) so there really was no reason to throw 3 sliders there. I know he's been getting hit hard lately but he also can't be moving away from his strength too much which is that fastball at the end of the day.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 This is a really bad time to have your closer unravelling.
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Nah everyone should have played game 2 than punted Sunday. I agree. Gibby knew that it was a twin bill. The celebration was going to have to wait anyways... Whatever but like many said, the bigger issue at the moment is Osuna; playing the WC winner is secondary

EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Yep, not concerned about hfa at all really. Would be nice but got tons of other things to worry about before that.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Ok, well our team didn't look like WS material tonight. Just saying.
