jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Yankees have a MasterCard presale for postseason tickets tomorrow at 10 AM. Possible ALCS matchup for the Jays make it on through and if the Yankees make it past the Wildcard game and ALDS.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 My s***** section 113 seats that I paid roughly $125 each are now being listed as low as $380 on stubhub. I wonder if it'll go any lower.
GoldBull Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Got really lucky today. Got to the front of the line at the start and got 2 flight deck tickets for game 2. Got back in line for a single game 3 ticket and got one in the 500s.

Did you specifically search for flight deck seats or did they just pop up when searching best available?

Did you specifically search for flight deck seats or did they just pop up when searching best available? Just popped up when I searched best available. It should be fantastic! Does anyone know how the flight deck seat assignments work? I was given row 7, but I thought that it was just a general standing area with 3 levels.

During the regular season, its open to anyone on a first come first serve basis. Though for the postseason, you have a standing area reserved for you.

Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Not going to get into my philosophy around secondary market ticket selling but today was crushing. I've had a Fan Pass for 5+ years now and always debated trading it in for a Flex Pass because of the playoff ticket priority, but I couldn't give up the best ticket deal in town. So I hoped and prayed on a whim that I would get lucky with Ticketmaster (by the way, if I see a banana, orange, boat, street sign, or pizza in the next 30 minutes I will snap)... and didn't. I'm going to look into the secondary market but not sure I can afford 3-4x the asking price for 500s. Absolutely crushing after heading to over 20+ games this season to be shut out of the playoffs through official channels. Tis the risk I chose though.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I don't think they're available until Oct 1 but then how do the people on stubhub upload their digital tickets?
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 been wondering about that myself, I can't find my tickets Just called my ticket rep. They won't post the seats until they know what game they are playing. If thats the case how are people selling already?

GoldBull Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 but then how do the people on stubhub upload their digital tickets? Good point. No clue... I just remember it said Oct 1 as the date they become available when I was going through the purchasing process.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 On StubHub there are tickets available for a luxury suite at $440 USD per person. Doesn't sound like that bad of a deal considering what other tickets are going for.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Lowest ticket price on stubhub for game 1 right now is 190 US, a massive increase in 1 day. The cheap seats all sold. A few days ago there were a few available in the low 100's $US and ECJF was brimming with confidence that he'd get his for under 100 CDN when the time came. Things aren't looking good for him at all now unless he was one of the lucky ones today...

For the ALDS, the 500s are $60 face and there are a whole whack of people who bought series/playoff strips that are budgeting to sell some games in order to fund the games they're actually attending. Thousands of tickets will be sold on the secondary market. Prices could still conceivably drop back to the low $100s.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 jaysblue, I'm just glad you got tickets. They are singles right? Probably best that way.

If I hadn't bought strips, I was prepared to lay down $500 CDN for 2 tickets for the worst seat in the house to an ALDS game. Just to get in the door. There are probably lots like me. I'm pretty confident I'll be quadrupling my 500 level seats.

Once we receive them and the tens of thousands of us put some games on stub hub the supply will drastically increase and the prices will go down. Give it a week

The absolute worst time to buy tickets is right after they sell out because everyone panics and "must secure their tickets"
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 OK I did a fake listing to check the price that seats have actually been sold at. Section 113D has a lowest list price of $335 right now. But a pair of tickets sold for $277 each today in row 9 (which I have). In row 15 they sold for $220.
