That's the thing, I've never understood that type of behaviour. Like, why do it? How does anyone even have that kind of time? And why not spend that time doing something a little more enjoyable? What the f*** does someone actually get out of trolling a message board for like ten years? Of course, not being able to understand this probably means I'm not crazy so I should just stop questioning it.

My best memory of the old board was that guy who was leaving, said good bye to everyone, then forgot to login to his other account to say bye to himself and how he enjoyed reading his posts. Well, it was pretty good for a few years. I honestly don't understand how it got as bad as it did.

 

No moderation + functionality from 1995 + a legit insane person posting hundreds of times a day over dozens of accounts, all with different personalities.

I think it was probably only an issue if someone reported you. And even then the mods sometimes just deleted the post in question.

I don't know what that has to do with that forum mod who signed on at 9am and 9pm, she's a BSox fan spoke to me in 03 a couple times and I saved the old forum url to see who logged in and off at all hours, the Mod's profile was a woman from RI and her fave team was the Bosox and she stayed the Moderator until we made this forum, no jokes.
