Well just be happy it is only a 1.5 GB mountain and not an 8 GB mountain. As well, we have the benefit of playing them tomorrow. Hutch will turn this back around and we'll be flying into Philly.

Hopefully we can get tomorrows game with Hutch, I will be there getting my bobble head to complete the series this year, also going into Philly they should get 2 wins there. The Twins could take a game from the Yanks and the Indians are a fun club to watch so by this time next week the Jays could be back up a game or 2 on the Yankees.

May the magic of the White Panel cap (I really hope they make this a permanent alternate cap) and the 85 Jays help Hutch and rest of the crew tm! Win tm and it's 4-2 over the past two series against the Yanks, which I'll gladly take any day. And with Hutch going tm hopefully he can get the same kind of run support he's been getting all year as well, the offence is due for a big game!

Part of me wishes Dickey would start tm just for the sole purpose of screwing up their swings again on their way out of town, going into their homestand...

 

but that idea has been dismissed already by Gibby so only thing we can do is hope that Hutch and the bats can pull this one off tm...

I really wish that was the case because Dickey would also be anchoring the final game of the Angels series too instead of Hutch. Yup fingers crossed, I really hope we pull it out.

Yeah....the Yankees sked is so weak. Hope we secure the 1st WC and get the one gamer at home.

Yankees have nearly as good offense as the Jays and have way better pitching. All our starters are pitching over the heads last few weeks.

McCann has been the X factor lately for them. Contrast that with Martin who has been AWOL at the dish the whole 2nd half so far. We are getting 0 production offensively from C (I know his hamstring is hurting).

It might be a good idea to give him some days off. just bring him in for late D if it is a really tight lead.

I don't think Travis is coming back this year at all. He hasn't even picked up a bat since going on the DL again.

I think he has a legit chance of coming back in Sept (as stated from AA himself). I'm ok with this given how Goins has played.

 

My bigger fears around this team are how Martin has fallen off and JD's workload. Would like to give both players a couple more days off before the stretch run in Sept.
